Hotel was good basic accommodation. The staff were freindly and accommodating and the restaurant offered a reasonable variety. There were a couple of vegetarian choices available. It was a not too far from the old town and the train station was easily reachable on foot. Would recommend as a short break.

"Winter escape to Dresden"
Great place to relax and enjoy your day or evening. The staff was great and very helpful. If you want a box hotel this is not for you. If you want a place that treats you like you live there than this is the place for you. If we ever get that way again we will gladly stay at this Hotel.

"Fabulous little village"
This is a lovely little hotel. We visited late November 2013 and unfortunately the street that the hotel is located in was closed due to work on the 13th Century church immediately across the street, add to this the Christmas markets blocking off several other winding one way cobbled streets, drizzling rain and the fact that it was dark and you have an interesting dilemma for your GPS (every single way it took us we had to divert). We got there though and it was lovely! Friendly (english speaking) staff on the front counter, lovely room which was quite large and a central location in a beautiful town. Parking was a little way down the street, though if the road had not been closed outside we would have been able to drop our bags at the front door before we took the car to the carpark. All in all a very pleasant stay - would definitely recommend.

"Did I arrive at a convention by accident?"
Staff was curteous and very friendly. They took care of our requests in an efficient manner. The lobby was a bit odd, since the open space was occupied with cocktail tables and large serving tables to serve convention guests. This distracted us tremendously, since it took over an otherwise well appointed lobby. This is the first time I ever saw people milling around during a convention right in front of a lobby. I have gone to hundreds of conventions all over the world and this was a first for me. There is usually a totally separate area reserved for events. The hotel is made up of separate buildings surrounding a well appointed green space. While nice to look at, some areas were not well lit at night and I would worry for an elderly couple. We were 2 women in our mid 50s, in good shape, but still did not like the unlit areas going to our room. Watch out for stairs! Beds were comfortable, but first time for my friend who felt a spring stick out of the mattress! This was fixed right away by the staff, but still a curious incident. Bathroom was split in two: toilet separate from bathtub/shower and sink. This was very convenient and appreciated. All in all okay for the price. The breakfast buffet was good, dinner buffet somewhat limited, I would recommend to order a la carte instead for dinner. Recommended for visits to Dresden, no need to take the car since a streetcar will lead you directly into the center of town. Meissen is another attractive place to visit.

"Great hotel"
This was a great hotel with beautiful grounds surrounding it. After being in city hotels with noise and congestion, this was delightful stay that was peaceful, quiet and serene. The room was clean and comfortable and the restaurant was delicious. Great time. Would have liked to stay longer.

"Small boutique hotel lacking amenities."
Right in the center of town. No A/C and nobody to help you with luggage as you must go up and down a maze of stairs to get to your room. So if you don't mind being without A/C in the Summer and carrying your own luggage up and a maze of stairs, it's not a bad 3 star hotel. PS. Internet extremely slow to none functioning and no room service. Otherwise, it's OK for few nights to see Miessen.

Riesa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Riesa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Riesa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
