"Time in Coromandel"
A stay to sample the delights of Coromandel town and surrounds. The motel is a short walk from the town centre and although slightly more expensive than others, it is well worth it. The attention to detail and quality of the fittings and fixtures is outstanding. In our opinion, it is one of the best motels in NZ

"Nice value for money"
Not bad for a holiday park. Everything was reasonably clean, even shared bathrooms, shower & kitchen. Was quiet at night without kids screaming or partying going on. Bed was bit uncomfortable but it was bunk beds, so within expectation.

"Beautiful Farm with great people"
We fell in love with the farm at first sight. The view is so stunning it makes you want to sing the Sound of Music. Our hosts are warm and friendly. We were welcomed to watch or participate in the farm activities such as shearing the sheeps, feeding the lambs, calves, horses or simply playing with the farm dog and chickens around. Our kids had a lot of fun running around with the lambs in this hige farm. The horse riding is a must do!

"Secluded Villa, Perfect for Couples or a Family"
We stayed at this villa during the second part of our honeymoon and it was my husband's favorite part of the trip. It's a beautiful area, secluded but just a five minute drive to town. The area is stunning, it's private and beautiful, and you are surrounded by nature. There's also a wonderful hot tub, a sitting area, and a grill, and we utilized all. It was perfect for us as a couple and as there was a room upstairs with three additional beds, it would also be perfect for a family. I wouldn't recommend it for a single traveler as it is really isolated and gets a tad bit scary at night, despite the fact I'm sure our safety was never in jeopardy. The only cons were that the internet was quite slow (but that's to be expected if your really want to be in nature) and this is really more like staying at someone's house than a hotel. Everything is provided for you, but you are making your own bed and really living on your own. We also were stupid and left a used spatula in the sink one night which led to a major ant problem. We were able to get rid of them by taking out the trash and spraying, but it wasn't pretty for a couple of hours. Overall if you are looking for a beautiful spot with some privacy and a home base to explore Coromandel, this is a good hotel. Just expect a long and windy drive to some of the sites (like Cathedral Cove).

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Port Jackson, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Port Jackson hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
