"Nice hotel in the middle of the old town"
Nice little property in the middle of the old town. A little distance from the train station or shooing area. A few good restaurant near buy. Breakfast can be better, and coffee should be free flow.

The hotel owners graciously dried my shoes by the fire after a very rainy sightseeing day. Breakfast was delicious, which included a poached egg, meats, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumber, yogurt, breads, juice and coffee. You are able to choose the time that breakfast is served. The room was spotless, with lots of character. My only suggestion might be to update the pillow.

"Great stay in Poprad"
We arrived late at night only to find out that the hotel hadn't received the customary notice email form Expedia about our stay. They weren't expecting us and were fully booked that night. In less than ten minutes the hotel's manager had arranged an upgraded room at a nearby, and presumably competing, hotel at no extra cost to us. His handling of the situation was exemplary and our experience was seamless despite the email issue. The next night we stayed at Fortuna as planned and the place was great, comfortable etc.

"Great thermal bath but hotel is just so so"
We stayed at Aqua City for one night before new year eve on our way to Krakow after visiting Slovakia. The hotel lobby, front desk service and the room was Okay. I meant okay not great provided the price was quite expensive comparing to other facilities in the area. It was not that spa like as we had hoped. The thermal bath was great. A lot of families came to the area. The rate includes both breakfast and dinner and they were quite good. The facilities felt more like 80's luxury so a bit dated in a way. One thing that we did not like was the access timing to the thermal bath. The dinner was from 630 to 9pm. We arrived at 4pm. After settling down, we entered the bath at 5pm and can only enjoyed the bath for two hours before dinner as we were hungry. After that there was no time to use the bath again as it closed at 930pm. The check out time for the next day was 10am which is when the thermal bath opened so literally we paid premium just to use the bath for 2 hours. It would be fair if the check out time was noon or hotel guests could use the bath until certain time after their check out.

"A huge complex with family feeling.Awesome place!"
The Hotel is located in a gorgeous picturesque area surrounded by beautiful mountains, clean air and outstanding thermal facilities, massage, beautiful large pools, great restaurant, coffee and liquors and beer bar. Staff are courteous very helpful with good English skills. The pools are awesome, clean warm and fresh thermal water. Sky areas are visible from my room balcony not far away. Also the view of the Tatras are breathtaking. The breakfast facility is worth of special mention with long tables piled up high with excellent quality pastries, cakes, cereals, nuts, fresh fruits, breads, juices, syrups and delicious preserves possibly all homemade. The hot items are served freshly made by a chef on a hot grill and you can enjoy eggs any style, omelets, small delicious thin airy pancakes similar to palachinka, many sausages, cold cuts, bacon, yogurts, fresh fruits and almost anything you can think of. It is hard to imagine you wouldn't find something delicious here! Check out was super fast even in rush hour and I must thank Ms. Lili at checkout counter for helping me with my taxi to Kosice Airport.Great young lady very helpful kind and patient with someone that didn't speak the Slovak language.THANKS!! I most definitely visit again this hotel for a long stay in ski season and spring even when I traveled all the way from New York the trip was worth it. A very nice place you should visit no matter what country you are from. I give it 5 stars!

Poprad is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Poprad, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Poprad hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
