"nice and clean"
Safe and clean. Large windows. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was little small but manageable. Great location to the old town. We love to walk therefore found it conveniently located. Evening shift person, I wish I could remember his name, was extremely helpful and nice. Patiently answered all of our questions and provided us with accurate information. Breakfast items are limited.

"Nice place"
Very nice clean modern hotel in residential area, but close enough to walk to the mall and other restaurants and shops. The pool was smaller than I had expected but it was fine to chill for a while. Recommended.

"Nice hotel according to the price"
A thing to improve it is that the following question is a little embarrassing: "Do you took something from the fridge?", to inmediately, the girl from the reception, do in front of you the same question to the staff room service.

"Good little hotel on the old part of town. "
Good hotel, very clean and modern. It's right in front of a little market on the old town. Neighborhood is a little old and maybe a bit dangerous, but we had no problems. The staff is good and attentious. The double room is very small, with a tiny bathroom and very small beds.. All in all, a good stay.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. It is walking distance from the shopping center and a good location for a lot of good restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and we're even able to give good recommendations of where to go, what to do and eat.

"Ten delightful days in central Montevideo"
Stayed ten nights in this hotel for a business trip followed by a few days holiday. Enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. If you are looking for a corporate bed factory then this is not the hotel for you - you will find the the usual big brand name hotels elsewhere in Montevideo. If you are looking for a funky boutique hotel then this most certainly is for you. It is located in the Ciudad Vieja, the old town of Montevideo and close to the Plaza Independencia, the main central square. There are plenty of good places to eat throughout the old town, although some close quite early in the evening and some are not open on Sundays. First impression is that the hotel is full of art by local artists. The architecture reflects the building's history and marble abounds. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the continental breakfast is ample. In summary, this is a delightful place to stay which added to our enjoyment of the city. I happily recommend it and would be delighted to stay there again in the future.

"Wonderful neighborhood!"
Great location, helpful, gracious staff make this hotel a good option. Short walk to Punto Carretas shopping center. Golf club across the street is open to the public as a park on Sunday afternoons (except June, July, August when international tournaments take precedence.) Interesting restaurant choices also abound and staff helpfully describes options. Room was small, but well arranged with ample closet space. Carpet smelled a bit stale, but windows do open, so airing out helped. Breakfast options varied and attractive breakfast buffet was renewed and kept fresh.

"Nice hotel close to dowtown Montevideo."
In general very good experience. The staff excellent, the breakfast, even thought is repetitive is very complete..The room excellent. The hotel may need a renovation to bring it up to a more modern look, I notice they are doing that for the work at the lobby. Even that everything is in working condition. I will return? yes. I will recommend ? yes.

Montevideo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Montevideo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Montevideo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
