"Lovely hotel ,a bit out of the centre"
This was a last minute holiday booking with my friend for a relaxing break. The hotel was a great option - staff speak English, nice lobby and restaurant area, there is a spa and pool but you have to book pool time and it's limited to about 30 mins a time, I think. The breakfast is great, we started each day with great meal. The room was clean and decent and a modern bathroom. We asked for a kettle so we could make tea and were charged for it! That would be my only criticism. The hotel is more of a conference hotel (there were a few on while we were there) and it's about a 15 min walk into town, up a moderate hill. There are some restaurants close by - a very good pizza one which is always busy so make sure you book.

"Diamond in the Rough"
This hotel is fantastic! An awesome place to stay in Cagliari. The peace and quiet, the exceptional staff, the breakfast and room service - all exceptional. I didn't find the city itself particularly nice, as many of the bits I saw seemed a little run down and graffiti ridden, but the hotel was the opposite. The only slight issue is that our double bed was two singles pushed together so it was difficult to cuddle!

"Good location with view over the harbour. "
If you like white walls and no character in your hotels you will not like this one. Every room is very very different with a different theme. Some are nicer than others. However, these themes gave us endless fun( we occupied six or seven rooms) and they were certainly worthy of comment. Every bathroom was lovely.

"Certainly not 'love at first sight !' But !!!"
On arrival we were not impressed, externally dated appearance and not welcoming.... However, internal refurbishment brought it to a good standard. We expressed our view that the hotel was not 4 star accomodation and helpful reception upgraded us to a suite 'free of charge'.... Which made our stay so much better with clean, spacious interior. Many facilities closed as end of season. Pool was huge, also dated, but clean. Sun beds 'free' and comfortable around pool. Staff... 'Charming'.... Nothing was to much. We were able to borrow a travel kettle to make drinks and there was a fridge in the room. Breakfast offered a good selection of 'continental' items. 'Andreas' the waiter was a pleasure to meet. Bubbly, enthusiastic and a great travel guide.... Sharing his love of 'Marie Pintau' beach with us. The most beautiful, tranquil beach I have ever visited. Hotel location means a hire car is a must.... As very few places to go on foot. Local pizzeria.."Bella vista" worth a visit. Cagliari was a lovely city with many beautiful shops and restaurants. The harbour appealed to us and proved a good place to park. Our first visit to Sardinia......and still didn't try any sardines !

"Authentic Italian Experience"
We stayed in the 3-bdrm, city view apartment on Via Barcelona in Cagliari. The apartment was immaculate and well-appointed. There was only 1 set of keys, but the Hotel Miramare who manages the apartment, was very quick to create a duplicate for us! There is no lift at the property, only many sets of stairs up, but after a large Sardinian meal that was a benefit! I would highly recommend the apartment and happily stay there again in the future.

Monserrato is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Monserrato, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Monserrato hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
