"Would Return in a Heartbeat!"
This hotel is amazing, but what really makes it special is the staff. The entire staff make you feel as if you're part of their wonderful family. We had rented a car (recommended!) and wanted to do a lot of excursions. Each time we asked, they came up with wonderful places to send us.

"Early season stay,"
Our stay was very early in the season, we arrived two days after opening and the hotel was quiet. The staff could not have been more helpful. We had a sea view bungalow which gave us a fantastic view of the gardens and the beautiful bay. The breakfast buffet was superb but because the hotel was so quiet the only restaurant open in the evening was the main buffet which very good but expensive.

"Excellent for the views and peace and Quiet"
The hotel is located on a small peninsula surrounded by the sea. It has a fantastic views of Mirabello Bay and the whole atmosphere is serene and tranquil. This is mainly due to the fact that no under 18s are allowed (bliss)! The staff were super friendly, helpful and professional and made us feel almost at home! The only significant flaw at the hotel were the hard mattresses on the bed. The staff added overbedding to soften it but it was still hard. This resulted in a stiff back every morning and not the enjoyable sleep I was hoping for from my holidays. It took four 80 minute Cretan massages at the hotels excellent (but pricey) Spa to get me sorted. I would expect a far better quality mattress from a 5 star hotel.

"Superb hotel with private beach"
This hotel is definitely in the luxury class. All facilities are exceptional. With bars providing both drinks and snacks poolside or by the beach is great. There are plenty of sunbeams and parasols throughout and never had a problem getting one either by the pool or along the front by the sea. There were times when other guests put towels on sunbeams and never used them for many hours and whilst there are signs to say that staff will remove these I saw no evidence that they did so this could be improved.

"Relaxed family resort with something for everyone"
We had a super 10 days and although it was mid-August and very busy, the resort didn't feel too crowded and we could always find a good place to sit during the day. Plenty of options in the shade as well as the sun. Pool area was very busy but not surprising given it was peak season. Water sports centre offers a range of things but a bit pricey. Mixed clientele - UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Russia. Most with children under 12. Very civilised, relaxed kind of atmosphere Meal times were well organised too with buffets being constantly topped up. Comfortable accommodation with very clean rooms and good sized space - it's not luxury but doesn't pretend to be. Minimart on site provides all the essentials so no drama if you've forgotten something.

"Nice resort hotel a short walk from Agios Nikolaos"
This hotel resort is quite large and is based on a hillside a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. The resort has 3 main pool areas - one small one, one larger one where the main pool activities take place and with a shallow pool for kids and a quiet large pool area. The pool areas are really nice with great views, but as usual in the Greek islands the pools aren't heated! We were staying bed and breakfast which included buffet breakfast in the main restaurant, which was a pretty wide selection. There are also 2 poolside restaurants which do lunch and dinner, a la carte for dinner. We had dinner at both and they were both really good - one even did a 5 course meal! Definitely much nicer than the buffet restaurant and excellent service. We generally prefer to be bed and breakfast and I think this is the best way to go at this hotel. There are a couple of good tavernas / cafes a 2 minute walk from the hotel by a pretty pebble beach which are good for a more traditional lunch or dinner and its not a long walk to Agios Nikolaos. The spa was excellent. We had a 15 minute introductory massage with our room which was great, and I also had an aromatherapy massage which was one of the best massages I have had. They had some really good deals when we stayed, so it was really good value for money. We just had a basic room, and it did feel a little basic (the bathroom was very small) but we had a lovely sea view and the room was clean and comfortable.

"Luxurious, family oriented resort"
This resort deserves its five star rating. It has all of the amenities that you would expect but what sets it apart is the staff. The clientele is mostly European but the resort is very family friendly. The only slight minus was the dining options. We were on a half board, meaning we got breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was great but dinner got a bit monotonous. The resort offered a 25 Euro discount per person if you wanted to eat at another restaurant at the resort. We tried it and it was not worth the expense. Lunch was at our own expense and without the 25 Euro discount, the emphasis is on expense. Food was great and service was even greater but we racked up a considerable bill. Also to keep in mind, there is a dress code for men at dinner. Long pants are required. This was ignored by many of the guests but it's worth keeping in mind when packing! Bottom line is this is a great resort in a beautiful setting. We would definitely go back!

Mochlos is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Mochlos, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Mochlos hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
