"Beautiful Hotel but food and service is not on par"
We stayed two nights with our friends and loved the resort even though we had just left another lovely resort on Perhentian Kecil after a 4 night stay there. TJ was luxurious, rooms were great, environment just lovely. The food and the service was however terribly disappointing. We ate at two restaurants there in addition to breakfast and was not satisfied with the quality at all. Drinks by the pool took a long time to order and to get service...seems like a waste of opportunity for the hotel to generate revenue when people could be drinking two drinks instead of 1 in the same time frame. We asked for more Tobasco and Worcheshire Sauce for our Bloody Mary and the response was, "we ran out and you have to wait half an hour until we walk to the other restaurant"! Management really needs to be more hands on. To be honest, we did not see a single manager walking around the three days and two nights we were there. If not for the food and service, I would have given the resort a 4.5. There are no other restaurants near the I hope they improve the food and service as it is such a shame considering it is such a beautiful place.

"Near to town, shops to access and place to eat"
At first I though this hotel is a quite grand hotels but it turns out, it is just a simple and nice hotel with a great service. When I've arrived at the hotel, my first impression is that the parking space is limited as other guest just park their vehicles just beside the road near to the lobby however, there's a lot of parking spaces around the hotels but you need to walk a bit farther to access the lobby. No basement parking that I've seen during my visit. Check-in was easy and fast especially if you booked online. What I've like about the room key is that it use contact less key card which is convenient especially if you have a lot of baggage to handle. The room that I've booked is spacious with 2 single bed which I think quite large and can accommodate 2 person and also a separate room which locates a sofa bed which is comfy and quite private I would say which has it's own wardrobe, a table and also it's own air conditioner units and LED TV. Utilities such as iron, ironing board was provided in room which is a plus. You can even request for baby cribs without additional cost. Bathroom was spacious and complete with all the amenities. The only complaint about the room is that the sofa bed was not well maintained as the mattress already flattened out and not in a good shape where when you lying down on it would make you felt the rod that support the mattress under it. Some of the lighting in the room is not in a working condition. I think the hotel can improve more.

"Unexpected modernism"
Being far from KL I totally did not expect the touch panel for lights, that was super awesome, bravo! And the toilet too, very modern. I liked these modern and minimalist touch. Well done. Then at breakfast I found some presentations rather splendid too, especially that you served cold cuts. I don't think many local-themed hotels do. Didn't get to check out the pool though, shame, I did book this hotel because of location and swimming pool. But great stay! Probably the whole hotel can go through a phase by phase upgrade into a totally modern hotel? Loved it. (Oh, maybe except the channels on TV)

"Cheap and Nice hotel"
I check in the hotel due to traffic jam and missed the last ferry to Redang. I booked a family room with 5 adults and the room was spacious, clean and come with 2 air cond. Sadly no tv or fridge in the room. The blanket is too thin. Everything provided at the kitchen come with extra charges. The wall is a bit thin so if other tenant have kid it will be very annoying. The place is 15 mins drive to Shahbandar Jetty & Chinatown. Overall it is a great hotel with cheap price.

Marang is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Marang, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Marang hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
