"Excellent hotel 1h away from Athens"
Perfect location, friendly staff, amazing breakfast! Door to door from a suburb east of Athens took us 2h to get to the hotel. Welcomed with iced lemonade and local desserts. 5 star experience throughout our stay. Definitely returning back!

"Luxury hotel with an awesome pool and beach area."
Staff was exceptionally friendly, the breakfast buffet was amazing, the activities offered were a great touch to break up just a day of sun bathing. I don't have many complaints - the beers and food were a bit pricey but it's worth it for the exclusiveness of the hotel - and if you wanted to pay less there's numerous restaurants a 3 minute drive away. It's a perfect resort for soaking up sun and relaxing.

"Probably the best view on the island."
I was a little confused at first, because I don't think there is a reception area for the hotel. So I called to find someone to come and help me check in. The only downside to this was it was hard to get orientated at first because I couldn't speak Greek well enough to ask the staff with my key any questions. But once I learned that the staff at the hotel restaurant were the ones who could help me, my stay went like clockwork. They helped me rent a car (a must if you come to Kéa), fed me delicious breakfast and dinner. The hotel room (junior suite) was huge compared to other hotels, and the outlook was phenomenal. I didn't even swim in the pool because there are so many amazing beaches that I drove to each day. Absolutely wonderful and helpful staff at the restaurant and I cannot thank them enough for making my stay a brilliant one.

"A little beach-side gem hidden in a quiet cove"
This is a lovely small hotel nestled in a little cove below the dramatic Temple of Poseidon which dominates the headland of Cape Sounio. In its design some effort has been made to blend in with the surroundings and, even at night, there is minimal light and noise pollution from the hotel. Hence in and around the hotel the atmosphere during our stay was generally peaceful and quiet. Our room was clean and comfortable, if a little basic, with a great bathroom with a powerful shower. The wardrobe contained a safe so we were able to put some valuables in there, although our sense of security was somewhat deflated after a few days when we discovered that the safe was not actually attached to anything and could easily be carried away. The staff were consistently welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food and service were very good in the main restaurant, and snacks were also available from the beach bar but only on busy days and then the fresh food available consisted of just one choice of sandwich or roll. The beach appears to be private but day visitors are allowed to hire sunbeds for just 5 Euro a day. On a particularly busy Sunday there were hundreds of day visitors, mostly families, greatly outnumbering hotel guests, occupying the beach area including sunbeds and beach bar. So day visitors enjoy some of the same facilities as hotel guests for a fraction of the cost, taking away any feeling of exclusivity that one might usually enjoy as a paying guest in a beach-side hotel

"Recently remodeled wonderful hotel with own beach"
Expedia moved us to the Plaza Resort Hotel when Eden Beach Resort Hotel cancelled our reservation the day before we were to arrive. We are so glad they did; we really enjoyed the Plaza. The room was large with hardwood floors, and had a great balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. It appeared that the rooms had recently been completely remodeled. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. There was a stocked mini-fridge that had plenty of room for our own wine and beer. Breakfast was served from a menu and delivered by servers, with an extensive list of offerings, including delicious fresh fruit, eggs, waffles, meats, cereals, juice, and coffee or tea. (There was an area for a buffet, so they may use that during peak summer times.) All of the staff were wonderful, and the front desk staff took extra effort to give us recommendations and even draw up maps. We would highly recommend the Plaza Resort Hotel.

"Wonderful Hotel Great Location."
First impressions did not disappoint as the ambiance in the hotel was very calming and very tastefully decorated. Check in was done easily with a welcoming feeling. There was a lift to bedrooms, which was impeccably clean and serviced daily, leading onto a balcony for guests to enjoy the views of the bay. Breakfast had a selection of food to suit all tastes and the dining area was bright and cheerful. Wifi was fast in all parts of the building. There was parking should it be needed. The manager was always available to help and give advice if needed and the staff were helpful on any task given.Nothing was too much trouble.

Kea Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kea Island, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kea Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
