"Above Average Hotel in Downtown Cairo"
Checkin was quite prompt. My room didn't get cleaned or have the bed made until 4 PM. That seemed quite late. The staff says that breakfast begins at 6:30 AM; but I've found that the staff is still busy setting up and not entirely ready to serve breakfast at that time.

"It was much better 10 years ago"
Checking in was not smooth. It took them 2 hrs to make my room ready. But later, the desk manager help me out to check in. Location is good. Room is comfortable, food is clean, taste is ok. Overall experience was good . But overpriced to the service received.

"Very hit and miss in terms of customer service"
The staff at the cheching desk needs to trained, especially a certain Sameh, who is most rude and unhelpful! He could not find my reservation and made me wait for more than 20 minutes only to tell me he could not help me and told me literally to go away. This is APPALLING customer service! Fortunately, his colleague Mustafa intervened and was most gracious and helpful: not only did he checked me in but was patient, polite, spoke good English. Mustafa knows what is customer service is all about and should be praised for his professionalism.

"Nice hotel, friendly staff"
Nice hotel in downtown Cairo. We stayed for a week in October and the hotel was reasonably quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little hard to find at first and looks really run down from the outside/communal stairway, but is fine once you’re on the 3rd floor. The lift to get there is an experience! We stayed in room 305, a little way from reception - it was very spacious. We had a double and 2 single beds! There were large balcony doors and an air conditioning unit. There was a lot of noise from the street at night, but it’s downtown Cairo so what else would you expect?! For Cairo it felt reasonably clean, but I guess the bathroom was a little run down. Perfectly fine for our needs though - and you get what you pay for! The hotel arranged transfers to and from the airport - this all went as planned and we were happy with the service. The breakfast was basic, but more than enough for what you need - 2 bread rolls, an egg, cheese spread and fig jam, with tea or coffee. Soft drinks and water are available to buy in reception for reasonable rates. Overall we were very pleased with Bella Luna for what we paid!

"Hotel adjacent to pyramid. Nice roof top to watch "
The staff and friendly and helpful. They make your stay as comfortable as they can. The morning breakfast is good for start of day of sightseeing. The rooms are basic but clean with basic amenities. The beds are comfortable. Overall a very pleasant stay. The hotel is close to pyramids but away from the city center so it depends what you want.

Giza is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Giza, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Giza hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
