"Wonderful hotel next to the Pyramids"
Fabulous old hotel within easy walking distance of the Pyramids. The original part of the hotel is currently being restored so all available rooms are in the modern 'Garden Wing' but you can still look around the original building and two of the three restaurants are also in that part and still open. Service is impeccable and staff are super - I was even presented with a rose by one of the cleaning staff as I headed down to breakfast one morning. Make sure to book a Pyramid View Room and request a higher floor - worth the extra cost over a Garden View!

"Hospitable. Welcoming. The Best Hotel Experience."
The hotel might be rated at just four stars, but it deservedly can be rated five stars because of the top customer service provided by the staff especially the hotel manger. Their utmost pleasure is to make sure you enjoy your stay at the hotel and our stay was enjoyed to the fullest, the staff were always wanting to go the extra mile to make sure we had everything we wanted and when things broke down they came straight away to fix it. It's all about respecting them and they will respect you tenfold, a hotel experience that will all loved and I don't feel there will be another hotel I will stay at as long as I come to Cairo. A hotel I recommend everyone to go to if coming to Cairo.

"Low budget hotel, incredible view."
The staff is extremely helpful, and offer free bottled water, tea and coffee throughout the hotel. They arrange cheap tours and drivers without any hassle and are flexible as to when they serve breakfast. You can watch the sound and light show on the pyramids for free on the roof. You can also easily walk to KFC, Pizza Hut, grocery store, shops and even the pyramids. The downsides are the decor is a bit of an eye sore, the water tank in the bathroom runs out of hot water quite quickly and takes hours to heat back up, and the sound from the outside is very loud. There is a muslim prayer blasted several times a day, just outside the window, and every night at 7 the sound and light show goes on and lasts for at least an hour, as it is done in two languages. These things are so loud it's hard to hear your computer. Which is the only entertainment you will have because their's no TV. But WIFI is free and very good service. Overall, it is a cute place and worth the money, but I wouldn't spend more than a few nights there.

"Location and Staff tops"
It's the location and staff that makes this hotel desirable. The hotel has a front row seat view of the Sphinx and Pyramids. The view from the roof is spectacular and is a great place to enjoy breakfast or dinner. But it's the staff that really sets this hotel apart. We were treated like family and the staff does whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs. The hotel has a free airport pickup and you can book a return for much less than a taxi. Trust me, you don't want to drive in Cairo. The hotel itself is a 2 star at best and the bathrooms are very small but if we ever return to Cairo we will definitely stay here again. Nothing to do with the hotel but do beware of baggage handlers at the airport. They will have you empty your wallet before you know what's going on.

"Don't miss this hotel"
Even your visiting Egypt for a once in a life time trip, don't stay anywhere else if you really want to KNOW Egypt. The Staff from Esraa at the reception to Noora in housekeeping or Rahma in the Cafeteria.... You'll be treated by the most professional staff in a hotel. Back in the US if you want to eat authentic ethnic food, you find a restaurant that people from that nationality eating there ... For example a good Japanese food means you'll find Japanese people eating there... So if you want to exprience Egypt, stay at this hotel where not only all different nationalities stay but also you'll see professional Egyptians visiting from different regions stay...

"SAFE AND QUIET HOTEL."
I enjoyed this hotel, it was quiet and peaceful and the room service was good. The bath and sheets were a bit grubby but aside from that the room was comfortable and felt homily. It was like living in a comfortable bungalow and there was a nice garden outside. The swimming pool was clean and quiet and I enjoyed swimming in the ice-cold water. I felt safe in the hotel, I think it takes security seriously. There is airport style security at the hotel and they have a cute guard-dog working there as well. I slept well at nights, the bed was comfortable although there is a distant sound of fireworks across the desert. I found my own local taxi-driver called Nasser, he was funny and took me to see the sights. I enjoyed the hotel breakfast it was good and the service was efficient. As for the security situation, it is very quiet over there and there are lots of guns around but there is also a friendly atmosphere. The Egyptians have a sense of humour. My taxi-drivers last words to me were, 'Don't worry, be happy and walk like an Egyptian'.

"Great facilities"
A resort not a hotel! Beautiful grounds and swimming pool area. Several great restaurants for dining. The friendly cats add a homely feel. We arrived at 3am and couldn't book in til 12pm but the lovely staff allowed us to have our room around 5am. Hotel is not near anything if you like to walk. Only 10 min taxi ride to city. The shops across the carpark, while owners are very friendly, the silver jewelry i purchased was not hallmarked, (my own fault for not checking). JUST BE WARY.

Giza is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Giza, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Giza hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
