"Nice location, but the room was fair. "
The hotel is in a great spot in the city. The staff was super friendly with check in. Our room however was fair at best. The springs on the bed were sprung, there was a night club outside our room, that quieted down close to 12. The location was great, right next to the castle, and the walking path and righr downtown. So yes I would recommend to a friend, but would suggest they ask for a room not right ahove the club and check their bed right away.

"Nice Hotel for Wedding"
Stayed at the hotel for a wedding reception. Arrived late the night before the wedding and no problem checking in. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bar staff in residents bar were excellent. Breakfast is brillaint with a lovely cooked breakfast buffet and also a variety of pastries, fruit, cereals etc. All the waiting staff were friendly and very attentive. Nice little pool where're enjoy along with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Reception area upstairs for the wedding is nice and looks out over the golf course. The wedding venue itself is a very big room with tall ceilings. The room itself was very clean and tidy and quite spacious. Could maybe do with a little bit of an update in the decor and the TV, and the mattress had seen better days. But overall a great hotel and one I would have no pr Born recommnending.

"Great location, not a bad hotel"
The ground floor of the hotel was lovely - light and airy, with lots of sofas for people to sit and dissect their adventures together before leaving. Breakfast was good, and later on the bar seemed friendly and fun. Speaking of the bar, there was a lot of noise from the street and the hotel bar. There were a lot of revellers on the Friday night, who were mainly friendly, but gathered by the front door to smoke and chat, and this was directly under our window. Another issue is that everything in the accommodation part of the hotel seemed tired at best. Dark decor in the rooms, and a sort of old-people's-home feel to the place. It was a pity, as it seemed so promising when we arrived! There were a lot of positives, though - as well as the location right near the harbour and centre of town, the staff were all lovely, and I'd still recommend this to friends wanting to spend time in Dungarvan. However, it's definitely in need of modernisation, and it's very noisy on weekend nights if you have the window open. Don't book this if you're looking for a luxury boutique hotel; do book it if you want somewhere central to stay - especially if you like a good Irish breakfast.

"Beautiful location and friendly hosts"
This hotel is located away from the town and in a nice location. The hosts were flexible (we checked in at 9.00 pm and they were happy to accommodate changes) and extremely helpful. We stayed with our 2 kids and the owners were very helpful in cooking the items they wanted for breakfast. The room was very clean and nicely made up on arrival and we had a good night's sleep after a long day of ferry and road travel from the UK.

Ok for an overnight stay for a family of 4. It was nice to have two bedrooms. Internet service worked in lobby but not in bar. Both the evening and morning desk employee were very pleasant but overworked as desk employee also was the only bar / breakfast waiter. They did their best in the less than ideal situation they were placed in.

Clonmel is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Clonmel, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Clonmel hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
