The staff upgraded my room at no cost on arrival. They were always quick and helpful, especially when I would book an extra night online and they would extend my stay in the same room. Spotless interior & lovely facilities. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Hotel with breakfast included"
Location-wise, there is nothing spectacular. Leeden is not situated too close to any significant attractions or malls. The entrance to Leeden is a bit peculiar. It is located at a corner accessible only from one direction with a right hand turn on a major street, making it difficult for taxis to access, although with the way Chengdu taxis drive this really isn't an issue. The breakfast food and the room service food was actually quite good, but the morning breakfast was a bit inconsistent. Definitely our first day breakfast was better than the other days in terms of selection and flavor of the foods. Our room was of ample size for a family of 4 but required 2 air conditioners to cool, and they did not cool too well. Coupled with the habit of cleaning staff of opening the windows after cleaning made cooling down the rooms on return a bit of a chore. Overall, though, for the price it was decent value.

Good location, close to city center and subway. Nice room at reasonable rate. The gym could use an update. The breakfast is so so, especially if not included in the room rate.

"Really nice escape in Chengdu"
We have stayed once before and loved it then, staff were very helpful and the location is ideal for us. We have been dreaming of the gorgeous satin sheets since the last time and slept really well once again! The only disappointment was that the coffee table was quite scratched. Everything else was in very good condition. The gym is also probably the nicest I've used in Chengdu!! Would most definitely recommend!!

"Nice hotel, good atmosphere"
A good hotel but about 20 mins from the city centre. Taxis are so cheap in Chengdu meaning that doesn't really matter though. You won't find anything good to do within walking distance of the hotel, lots of slums and poverty, nearby apartment blocks so deteriorated they look like they're about to collapse. If you just want a base to spend your time with a few trips out, this hotel is perfect as it's very westernised and has an excellent restaurant which always seemed to be open. If you want to wander round exploring without using taxis, stay in the city centre where it's not so run down. All in all a posh hotel that's very comfortable with good facilities.

"Business Trip"
Nice hotel conveniently located on the airport side of town but overrun with a corporate event that shutdown the two main restaurants. We ate both lunch and dinner in the lobby lounge and both times had to wait 45 to 60 minutes for our food to come. Staff unfortunately only had a very basic level of English so we struggled to make our order then had several return visits to repeat it (and even then one salmon order turned up as a steak). Check-in was also frustrating as people kept pushing him and the staff failed to police the queue. All round a bit frustrating.

"Ueber cool place!"
Stayed for 3 nights with my family in July 2017. First impression is the staff. Young, smiling, smart, fast, sassy - always felt like I was talking to experts. They all speak sufficient English - in China that is a HUGE difference. Next impression is the feel of the hotel - very chic, traditional+modern. As we used facilities - found each one to be top notch. Including getting bicycles to drive around (though in big cities in China, bicycles are available literally everywhere). One gripe I have is the limited range of food available at the Temple cafe during breakfast. The location is awesome - walking distance to subway station; easy to get around.

Chengdu is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Chengdu, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Chengdu hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
