Candlelight Inn & Suites Hwy 69 near McAlester
It's an older motel but very clean and fresh. Staff was great. It's about 7 minutes out of McAlester but almost half the price of most hotels in town.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites McAlester by IHG
We booked because they supposedly had a pool and spa. Pool area was locked for good reason. It looked like a cess pool. After driving 10 hours we were looking forward to relaxing in the spa. If it's not in service let people know so they can have options.
