Only one night in BJ. The hotel is very close to 798 art center that's one of the reason I booked this hotel. The staff are friendly and willing to help you to solve problems.

"Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet!"
Stayed here for the last nights of our Sinorama Tour. The company uses this hotel because of its proximity for our Beijing sites. The breakfast buffets are worth getting up early for! By this point in our tour, many of us had the custom prepared bowl of noodles so we started having them for breakfast, we liked them that much! They also have English, American and Japanese style breakfasts, as well as continental so basically everyone is able to find something they like. A little chaotic in there, but that's very much a part of the Chinese culture. You aren't in Germany after all!

"Good 5 star hotel"
Booked 2 rooms using 2 separate bookings. Wrote in via email 1 month ahead to request for adjoining rooms. They noted my request. However on arrival I was told the 2 deluxe rooms (50sqm) I booked were on different floors and if I require adjoining rooms I will need to take superior rooms (35sqm, sl cheaper rent). I showed them the email and they agreed to accommodate so I ended up in adjoining superior rooms but with included breakfast on 2 of 3 days stay. I'd like to commend the staff on their excellent service - Geoff at the concierge was very efficient in helping me book places at restaurants I wanted to eat in. The printout even gave me a complimentary drink. I also need to store my mobile fridge in the cafe freezer as there is no freezer in the room. The staff were quick to resolve the issue. Unfortunately their freezer isn't cold enough and my fridge panels did not freeze over. fridge in 1 room was spoilt. Would be good to have small freezer in the fridge. Room service starts at 11am so we were forced to go to the cafe for buffet breakfast. Good spread. Prices at the hotel chinese restaurant and cafe are 5 star prices. Average meal with 1 vegetable, 1 tofu, 1 meat, 1 noodle and 3 rice with 2 evian cost 500+CNY. 44CNY for a 330ml bottle of Evian. Chinese restaurant dishes only have 1 serving size fairly large. Suggest to order few dishes and add on if insufficient, as we couldn't finish our food. Baby chair in restaurant too big for my baby. Cafe chair is ok.

"Hotel nice but Beijing is a tourist trap"
In general the hotel itself is very nice and is next door to a shopping area and it has one of the nicest indoor pools. The staff are not up to global Hyatt standards. Beware the concierge as everything in China is a tourist trap designed to get more money from your pocket and you will face a barrage of pushy scammers on the streets in front of the hotel and tourist sites (I used French to get them to go away). The hotel facilities are great but Beijing itself is a complete waste of time and money. Everything is a rebuilt fake including the great wall. Hats off to the Chinese though for rebuilding an entire city in under 3 decades. Very heavily polluted air. Avoid the tours if possible unless you want to be forced to visit jade stores and tea houses to buy stuff. The tourist sites are completely overcrowded and there is a fee to visit everything including Tiananmen.

"Some descriptions are unclear."
Continental Breakfast is only for one person for any type of room. We had to pay 3 additional breakfasts to allow our family to have the breakfast together. Some facilities' information which are listed on the booklet in the room should be updated in time manner, facilities such as bowling and Ping Pong do not exist anymore. The schedule for pool game can be changed or canceled depending on their mood.

Changping is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Changping, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Changping hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
