"Paradise in history "
We arrived at Hospes and the hotel was so peaceful. The grounds are gorgeous and serene. Our room was quite unique and beautiful. When we commented that our air conditioner wasn't quite cool enough, they immediately moved our room. The food was amazing at their restaurant. The entire staff made us feel like celebrities and we were truly spoiled. The Roman baths were so special and romantic too. We want to go back to Cordoba just to stay at Hospes.

"Very nice hotel in a great location "
This hotel is very modern and clean. The staff were amazing. Helpful beyond expectations. The hotel is located across the street from the entrance to the old city so it was very convenient. Parking is available at a price. There are a few spots out front that are free but hard to get. The wifi was good. The bed was firm as are most European hotel beds . We had a great time using this place as a base.

Very nice hotel. Super convenient location right next to the Mezquita-Cathedral. Friendly helpful staff and room was very nice. Ours overlooked the Mezquita. By far the most problematic situation was getting to the hotel from a car. Think twice before attempting that. Those streets that even allow vehicle traffic are barely wide enough for a car to squeeze (or scrape) through. Would have been nice to know all this ahead of time from Expedia or Hotel.

"Great small hotel, 1 minute from Mezquita."
Can't say enough really good things about this hotel, and the staff. Housed in a building that was once part of an old convent, but done wonderfully. Room was excellent, good size, great bathroom, overlooking the courtyard, could leave window open at night for fresh air so we could inhale the scent of all the orange trees! Literally a 1-2 minute walk from the Mezquita. We ate Breakfast and lunch at hotel and went out for dinner. Staff was very helpful in describing and making reservations at excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. One warning, be certain to get perfect directions to the hotel. It requires crossing the river moving away from the hotel, then re-crossing the river back toward the hotel at a different spot, then driving in areas marked as cars not allowed (the staff assured us it was okay since we were driving to the hotel), and stopping about 100 yards away at the closest corner, where hotel staff meets you, takes your bags to the hotel and then moves your car somewhere. Don't worry, it all works well, but is just a bit disconcerting.

"Great Location easily found when travling by car."
My wife & I and our two daughters arrived about an hour before the stated earliest check in time. One of my daughters was feeling unwell and just wanted to go to sleep. The hotel receptionist (Raphael), went out of his way to get one of the 2 rooms we had booked ready early, so that my daughter could sleep. We were so grateful. This was service above and beyond expectations ! The hotel was spotlessly clean with king size comfortable beds and an excellent roof top pool. We will return to Cordoba (but not in August) and will definitely return to this excellent hotel.

"Nice hotel close to the sites and great resturants"
Hotel is an excellent location away from the noisy clubs but still close to the sites. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and had a nice view out onto the pool area. Pool area was excellent. It was situated in a small but really nice sunny courtyard area. Overall an excellent option for a stay in stunning Cordoba.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
