"A gem in a beautiful medieval village"
The room is spacious and has a beautiful view from the windows. I think it's the best on that strip way of the village. It has also a nice restaurant where you can enjoy country pâte. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. Go there you won't regret it.

It was not clear that it was a chateau, until we arrived. Extremely helpful, kind receptionist/manager, who encouraged us to explore the whole place and enjoy its beautiful furnishings and décor. An excellent chef as well.

"Great stay, excellent staff "
We could not be happier with this hotel! We got a free upgrade to an exceptional handicapped room. The staff was very attentive to our needs and went out of their way to make us feel special. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We were very close to the UNESCO Heritage site we came to see. There was a lounge with books and games, and the staff had good information on restaurants and things to do and see.

"A 3 Star Hotel with 5 Star service."
From the second that we spotted the hotel from the main road, we felt 'Yes, this is going to be AWESOME'. I was a bit dubious about staying in a 3 star hotel in the French country side, but let me assure you, dear reader, this little place is absolutely fantastic. Marie France at reception is courteous and super efficient, immediately reserving us a table for that evenings meal. Marvellous Mathieu, one of the owners, hoisted my large suitcase up to our room in a jiffy, and what a delight the room was - very spacious, country chic - the giant double bed and multiple pillows as comfy as a cloud. We had a small entrance to our room, separate toilet and our own private bathroom with windows opening onto a scene mostly seen in magazines: a gentle gurgling lake and mountain views in the glorious country side. I could go on forever about the beautiful surroundings, the secluded pool and jacuzzi placed underneath a cliff but words are too poor to describe such majesty. I will, however, like to name the staff who were so helpful, polite and made us feel as though we were actually in a 5 star hotel: Benoit - please allow him to guide you when it comes to wine selection - he knows his stuff and everything that he recommended did not disappoint. Yann, Quentin and Baslien - thank you for being so very professional and polite in the discourse of your duties, you are all a credit to yourselves and the hotel. To our magnificent Michelin Star Chef - thank you for sharing your art.

"Nice hotel, great value for money!"
Lovely great value hotel! Was on my own for a night, just outside was a town square with an open air bar / restaurant where I spent a few hours eating cheese and drinking wine before retiring to my comfortable room for a good night sleep.

"A true country inn with delightful hospitality"
We arrived late afternoon and were greeted first by Tokay, the owners' cute lical dog, then by the proprietor who, after rhe usual introduction. asked if we would want dinner and outlined thr menu. When I told him that ine of us was a vegetarian. he immediatel proposed a meatless dish, since he was also rhe chef. The auberge is somewhat isolated, but you can take an enjoyabe walk up the country road that faces the inn toget a sense of rural French life. It is also not far from the medieval village of Turenne, which is certainly worrh a visit. Our only negative is that the breakfast, although pleasant, seemed a bit overpriced. But if you want to "get away from it all," we highly recommwnd the Auberge de Carassac, and suggest at least a two-night stay.

Bretenoux is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bretenoux, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bretenoux hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
