"Hotel in a quiet location at Bosa Marina"
The hotel is situated in a quiet, picturesque part of Sardinia, 5 minutes from Bosa beach and a 15 minute walk into the town. On arriving check in was very efficient, however we had a problem with the safe in the room which wasn't working. This was resolved reasonably quickly by moving us into a different room. The room itself was fairly spacious with a patio to sit outside, along with satellite TV, air conditioning and an en suite bathroom. My one criticism would be that the tiled floor wasn't very clean, so fotwear was required at all times. Breakfast offered decent variety to cater for a range of tastes and the staff were always happy to help with any issues where they could. I would rate the hotel itself as offering reasonable value, with room for improvement needed to move it into the excellent bracket.

"Exquisite hotel"
In my opinion Hotel El Faro deserves 4.5* / 5*.The hotel is based on the slope of the rock with the most magnificent view towards the bay with the Grotte di Nettuno in the background. Both with my husband had got exactly what we paid for. The room was comfortable and cosy with a quite good view towards Mediterranean Sea and the hotel garden. The staff was very polite, smiley and helpful. The room was taken care on daily basis, always clean and neat. The food was very good, the breakfast slightly to sweet but this is a matter of the culture and the individual taste. I am pleased to recommend this hotel to everybody.

"Excellant Hotel in a lovely city."
The Hotel Catalunya is a good budget hotel in a lovely city. The room we had was a fair size, was clean, the bed comfortable with good ensuite facilities. The staff were helpful, polite and welcoming. we had good breakfast in our deal in a great restaurant with views over the city of Alghero and the harbour. Parking was available free on a street nearby and there were a good range of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. Alghero is an attractive medieval city with an interesting history great culture, churches a small number of museums and quirky shops and bars. We stayed when it was quite quiet during a late easter break, however one day was a pubic holiday and whilst not a problem was very busy and parking would have been an issue; bear this in mind in full holiday season in August. Sardina is quite breathtaking, terrific history, archaeology, walking and amazing scenery and beaches which are not touristy and largely unspoiled. The people are very nice, friendly, helpful and warm; we would recommend it most highly.

"Nice hotel close to the Beach"
Lovely hotel close to beach. Lovely walk along promenade to old city. Staff were really friendly and took time out to ask about your day. Rooms were spotless. Good size swimming pool with spectacular views. Only gave 4 for room comfort and bathroom is rather small hard to manovre around but again very clean.

"Relaxing resort with a beautiful setting"
This hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot a short distance away from town and airport, surrounded by beautiful Sardinian beach and nature. There are lots to do around there if you are outdoor type, if not then it's easy access to Alghero town (you need a car.) We opted for half board as it was really a good price, breakfast was good, though may feel limited if you are after "English" breakfast type (i.e. mushrooms and fried egg). Dinner menu changed everyday, which was a nice surprise, and had reasonable selection (we were never bored) and food wasn't bad, included regional touch and loads of fresh seafood. Room was comfortable and cleaning was more than sufficient. Room size was slightly on a small side but in our experience all Italian hotels are a bit like that. Superb Wifi connection!

Bosa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bosa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bosa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
