"Nice and Economical Hotel in Great Location"
My wife and I have stayed twice at Anacaona. Went went back because we enjoyed it so much the first time. It is a great value for the money; the staff is very nice; the rooms are very comfortable (we love the view from our balcony); it is an easy and pleasant walk to probably the best beach in Anguilla; and it is close to some of the best restaurants on the island. We look forward to going back again and strongly recommend it.

"Overall, Good Place "
This hotel was right on the beach, the staff was friendly and right across the road were various restaurants to eat at like the Yacht Club, Pizza Galley, Boat House and many others. The hotel had a beautiful pool and nice views of the water. You could take a shuttle to the other Diamond Resort and swim in their pool, use the beach chairs and snorkel. We really enjoyed the snorkeling in the area that was off to the right near the hotel next to it. We saw squid, tang, a fish with a long pointy nose. Lots of different ones and the water was calm there so kids could snorkel as well. Another thing I liked was the water was so pretty. Now, we had an issue with our room and I thought we were going to have to leave but the staff took care of the situation. We had a two bedroom two bath, it was nice to have the extra room. The couches weren't very comfortable but we weren't in the room much. If you want to go to Phillipsburg, just stand on sidewalk and look for a van with a sign in the window that reads Phillipsburg on it. This cost 1.50 for one person one way. Was very convenient. This hotel is not a 5 or 6 star like the Ritz but it was very nice and convenient for a vacation to a distant island!

"Very Friendly Hotel"
We traveled to St. Maarten as a group to take part in the cycling race and from the moment that we arrived until the moment that we left, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to individuals.

"Request the Lighthouse"
We loved the Oyster Bay Resort, but I think that was because we had the most beautiful room in the Lighthouse. The staff was not very friendly upon check-in, so we were nervous. Once we got to our room (a 3 bedroom condo) everything changed. It was beautiful, had everything we needed, and we could not have been happier. The Lighthouse has its own fitness center, pool and hot tub, very nice! Housekeeping kept things spotless. The activities desk was helpful but actually didn't always give us the best answers we found, and the front desk was never staffed with anyone who seemed interested in being in a good mood. We will come back for sure though!

"great hotel"
I hardly ever write reviews but I enjoyed this hotel tremendously. It sits on an amazing beach where I spent a few hours a day. The twin sisters that work the hotel were very helpful in making plans and phone calls for me (both adorable too). I stayed in the smaller studio room in the lower level but it was bigger and nicer than I expected with a king size bed. It had a little kitchenette which i had planned on using but ended up just ordering food on the beach. I really have no complaints. I had a great vacation. I have mixed reviews about the island itself but the hotel stood out as the best part of my trip. The one day a bunch of women from the local gentlemen's club came to the hotel and hung out on the beach was just icing on the cake. The hotel is pretty centrally located but not walking distance to most things. Car rentals are pretty cheap ($25 per day) but I chose to pay a little extra for a moped ($40 per day). Who wants to ride around the caribbean in a car. I can't remember the name of the moped place but it was right over the simpson bay bridge across the street from Toppers, a pretty popular bar/restaurant. They will give you the price for a 24 hour rental but if you want it longer you can negotiate. Being next door to the airport is not nearly as noisy at you would think. Plus the last flight of the night is 9 or 10pm so it was never really an issue.

"Smaller Hotel with a Big Heart "
The Hotel had a shuttle service and Mr. St Clair the driver was very accommodating and friendly. Check in was a breeze. We were escorted to our suite and the ins and outs of the unit were explained. The pool was steps away from our door and very inviting and privet.

"Nice hotel but far away from everything!"
Nice hotel, clean, staff was friendly and helpful! It sits on the French side of the island and is nowhere near shopping and entertainment. Everything is over pretty early including the pool. Entertainment was just okay and tailored more towards older retirees, in my opinion. We had to pretty much make our own "party" or rent a car to go elsewhere. Hills are steep and there are tons of turns so if renting a car to adventure off of the resort to seek so sort of fun, I don't recommend involving alcohol. Food was not as good as some of the other Riu locations like Jamaica. Definitely needed more seasoning. If we visit here again, I would stay on the Dutch side where the night life doesn't close at 11 pm.

Blowing Point is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Blowing Point, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Blowing Point hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
