"Nice hotel, wonderful service "
The owner Shirley is absolutely wonderful. Upon arriving she informed us that Expedia never forwarded our booking to them (long story short -- we are unlikely to use Expedia for accommodation bookings in future), so she didn't have a record. Thankfully it is still quiet season so there were rooms available and Shirley very kindly also upgraded our room. The hotel is small and cosy, on a hill overlooking Hillsborough which is very pleasant. There is also a pool for a nice swim and a lovely little bar and restaurant should you wish to dine in, all they ask is that you order dinner in advance. We had an excellent breakfast -- continental with an upgrade of bacon, eggs and some fruit. All this plus a drink (coffee, tea or juice) for approx. 18EC person, in our belief this was excellent value based on the meal delivered. Our room was on the smaller side, however very neat and tidy with a nice little balcony overlooking the hills. I understand they also have much larger rooms with kitchens which would be ideal for longer stays. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

"Perfect hideaway"
We were looking for a peaceful place to stay on the beach and we found paradise in la tenuta Chatham. Only 3 private bungalows with a nice pool sitting on a long stretch of white sand. Accessible mostly by boat Tenuta Chatham is the perfect place to be after a long day of boating. The best conch fritters in the all caribbeans!

Easy walk to town. Quaint, charming hotel. Blinds don't roll up and water pressure is mediocre. All in all though, it's fine for a couple nights on the island.

"getting there!"
Had a fantastic stay Drive there is a real challenge unless you like NARROW /STEEP roads and left hand driving. They offer pick up from St. Georges which I would rec for the faint of heart. Took a great hike to local villages. -- ask Philip. Food wonderful, staff great. Would go back in a heartbeat

"Tranquil location with nice view of the ocean"
Pros: Walkable to and from town (~15 min) or easy to catch the local bus. Great view from the 2nd floor balcony restaurant. Dining was a positive experience with variety of dishes. The continental breakfast was better than most. Cons: Not located on a beach front and not near shops or other restaurants. No screens on the bedroom windows made for a miserable mosquito experience. No air conditioning throughout. Toilet was a port-a-potty style and stank after 2 days. Other rooms had screens, we were told. It is lovely on the outside and very tranquil setup with extra patio seating, books and hammocks, but if you want to be comfortable and walking distance from the beach, look elsewhere.

"Limited choices"
Hotel is close to town for the cafes and restaurants but far enough away from the loud bars when they set up speaker stands on the street not to be drowned by the music. Lady organised the Scaramouche to the Tobago Cays but 'forgot' to give me my change. Supermarkets there are very limited so if you have any dietary issues, then bring your food from St Vincent or Grenada. Happy Island Bar is nearby, built from Conch shells and there are Conch Hills in front of the hotel to see the devastation first hand. Watch for local fisherman in front of Grenadine Dive beside the hotel for cheap fresh fish (EC$8 a pound)

Argyle is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Argyle, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Argyle hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
