Can I travel with my pet?

Pets are allowed on flights booked through Hotwire, subject to the airline's individual restrictions. Hotwire cannot guarantee that you will be able to travel with your pet. Many airlines do not permit pets to be checked as luggage during certain hot or cold weather periods. Additional restrictions apply to pets traveling internationally. Small pets may also be carried in the passenger cabin, subject to each airline's individual restrictions.

Please note that there will be additional fees for traveling with a pet. These fees must be paid directly to the airline at the time of check-in. More complete information may be obtained from our airline partners' websites. Please contact the airline directly (in advance of the departure date) to make the necessary arrangements for a pet. If the airline cannot accommodate your pet, Hotwire cannot provide refunds on booked airline tickets. Therefore, if you must travel with our pet, we recommend booking directly with one of our airline partners.

Seeing-eye dogs and other service animals are always accommodated at no additional charge, but please be sure to contact the airline directly to make the necessary arrangements (after you complete your booking).
