"A 5* hotel not quite worthy of a 5*"
This is a good but not excellent hotel. The location is superb, ideal for access to the most important tourist sites and restaurants. There are some interesting features; we particularly liked the history and the inclusive shoe shine service accessed through the service closet. That said, there are problems. We paid for a Superior Room but it was not worth the upgrade. Contrary to the photos on the website, there was no fruit basket included. Decoration was fine but the bathroom was tatty; the shower head holder was loose and the water itself was temperamental, sometimes randomly running cold during a shower. We also had a window right next the bath/shower; a curtain was provided for privacy, but we felt a draft each time we showered. Also, for some reason the cleaner kept disposing of our bathrobes without replenishing them, though reception did send up replacements immediately when asked to do so. The bar is nice, and the staff knowledgable and efficient, but we'd agree with an earlier review in that it is a little randomly positioned; it serves, in fact, as a hallway between the attached restaurant and its entrance. Breakfast was also somewhat disappointing. We weren't told that there were extras that could be ordered. The breakfast room wasn't particularly busy but foods did run out (we dined for 25 minutes and the scrambled egg was never replenished, for instance). Overall, then, it's closer to 4* than 5*. That's fine in itself, but be sure to pay accordingly.

"Excellent hotel close to the centre of Tallinn."
It was fantastic. When something goes, no matter how insignificant it may seem, they offer something to rectify it out of their own accord.

"Perfectly placed to enjoy the Old Town"
We had a short break here in February. The weather was freezing but the staff were warm and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the reception area had a lovely open fire with sofas in front of it. Our rooms were spacious and bathrooms luxurious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this delightful hotel.

"Good location, good value for money. "
Maybe it is a cultural thing, but the staff came across as professional, but very cold and bureaucratic, where customer's experience was put as a less important priority.

"Charming hotel with loads of character."
This hotel was recommended by a friend and it exceeded our expectations. We felt like VIP's as nothing was too much trouble and the verse and chocolate added to this. The spa facilities were a treat to use and the Honey massage was certainly memorable. The spread for breakfast was wonderful but same old story for us Brits regarding weak tea. Despite the bitter cold outside the hotel was cosy and the Jacuzzi bath warmed us up further in our Zen room. The hotel was amazing value.

"Excellent location and fascinating history. "
All you need under one roof. A very good hotel with its own bar, restaurant and pub. Good choice of food at the buffet breakfast including gluten free and other alternative options. An undercover walk through to the shopping precinct, which also has the bus terminal and a supermarket on the basement level. The hotel is located just over the road from the old town wall gates and you can be right in the centre in a less than 10 minute walk. The hotel itself has a fascinating history and a tour of the 23rd floor, which was once occupied by the KGB, shouldn't be missed.

"Good location for marathon"
I have stayed at this hotel because of the location where is near from start/finish area of SEB Tallinn marathon. Less than 10 minutes walk can be taken you to the start/finish area of marathon. Actually in front of the hotel is 500m point of marathon course. Hotel facility was good condition and clean enough. The room has a bath which was deep enough. It seems air condition did not work, but in September it was no problem for me. Breakfast was OK. You can enjoy standard european style breakfast and also baltic cuisines such as sermon trout or helliings. Totally I was saticefied with two nights stay at this hotel.

Tallinn is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tallinn, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tallinn hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
