"Right in town, close to the malls"
Stayed here before, its a small town so having said that, this is a great hotel. Very surprising breakfast buffet similar to much larger hotels. Large eating area too. Rooms are nicely appointed inside and strong A/C.

"Middle quality with some flaws."
They didn't have the queen room we reserved so they upgraded us to a suite which was a nicely spacious main room plus the bedroom. Positives: --Nice pillows, --Nice cold refrigerator --Good 24-hour security, --Good quality (small) selection of inexpensive meals. --Good clean bathroom and good shower; good towels and standard items like shampoo and free toothbrush (although no body washclothes) Negatives: --No microwave, no tea bags (1 cheapo Nestle instant coffee packet per day, no tissues / napkins, no spoons, stir sticks or any other eating utensils. Nice kitchen type sink but not much use for it with no plates or utensils (they want you to order neals?); oddly, the sink faucet handle fell off easily - it seems like this would be quickly repaired. --Plate left on sink counter for an hour attracted an army of ants, and when that was removed the stream of 100s of ants found the wastebasket. --No safe for storing valuables, low quality bed mattress (too soft, causes backache) --The general neighborhood is not a good consumer or tourist area. Better to have a car with you instead of being on foot (Zpad is more of a motel than a hotel.) --Wireless slow but ok; no signal for Globe or Smart (on 1st floor of 3 floor building) -I found the desk staff a little too sure of themsleves compared with the standard excellence of modest Filipino hospitality. Additionally, it seemed weird (by Western standards) that they were chincy with giving a 2nd room card when there are two guests.

"Not value for money"
The management did not heed to our request for early check-in. Our flight to Tacloban was early that we needed a place where to freshen up & rest since the affair that we attended was still in the evening. When i booked for GoHotel i emphasized for early check-in. Back in Manila i already paid for the booking. But upon arriving at the hotel, we were told that there was no such request even if i already showed the voucher about it. Rather, we were told that we would pay P506 or something. I said that's not an issue. If we were told about it beforehand, that could be addressed when i paid for the booking.

"Beautiful scene from the porch"
Beautiful, Scenic and Relaxing. I love watching the stars and fishers light at night from the porch and I love going for a walk around the compound in the morning. The hotel is sorrounded with various species of tropical plants and a big beautiful swimming pool.

"Attentive staff"
Hotel was ok, but what impressed me was the staff. Very attentive and helpful. Skye lounge has a perfect view while having coffee( my favorite was caramel macchiato. Definitely I'll stay here again.

Tacloban is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tacloban, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tacloban hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
