"4 nights at Kia Ora"
Excellent hotel! We stayed at a beachside bungalow, steps from the ocean with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The bungalow was equipped with luxurious amenities, including a jacuzzi and inside and outside showers. All bungalows were surrounded with palms and lush tropical vegetation, which created a sense of seclusion and serenity. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a variety of interesting trips and activities available. The coral riff was beautiful and with plenty of fish. We highly recommend the hotel for everybody who would like to have a wonderful vacation. Thank you, Kia Ora! We would love to come again!

Le Maitai Rangiroa

"Comfortable room, good service, great setting"
Rangiroa has a dozen or so small pensions that are not found on internet sites, and only two international class hotels. We chose Le Maitai based on price and were not disappointed. We got a clean, comfortable and spacious bungalow with air conditioning and pleasant ambiance where we slept well at night. We enjoyed interacting with warm and friendly hotel staff who took good care of arranging our special tours. The restaurant staff always knew our room number without asking. Food was good, authentic, and expensive as everywhere in Tahiti. We spent casual hours every day at the beautiful lagoon-facing indoor/outdoor dining area, bar, and lounge area that's often visited by locals and makes fabulous photos. The dock over the water gives good fish-viewing from above as well as access to snorkeling among said fish right in front of the dock. They provided good snorkel gear. All that being said, the entire complex is squeezed into a rather small parcel of land, so the atmosphere was more that of a built environment than a shack on the beach. No lawn area. The space between bungalows is pretty narrow so you get to know your neighbors. The "beach" is rocks not sand, but if you're swimming off the dock that doesn't matter. The deck is meant for lounging not sunbathing. It's near the airport, but the off-site shopping and restaurant options are mostly 2-3 miles away. They have bicycles to use and there are taxi options. Rangi is flat and bicycles are popular.

"Nice hotel for snorkelling off the shore and relax"
Nice hotel to relax with good options specially for lunch and dinner. Pleasant service at restaurant. The cleaning staff is aware of the amount of ants in the beach villas. I would expect a much better cleaning process to avoid this, and a quicker removal of the room dishes/cuttlery...when dining in room to avoid an even higher amount of ants and other little animals. Reception hotel not too friendly and not too supportive. Diving is a main activity for choosing this hotel. This hotel has a house dive team. However, reception did NOT offer an alternative diving company when the diving for the next days was complete, telling us simply to wait for a day in which the on house dive team had availability. This gesture was very unwelcome from our side as they perfectly know that there are only 2 more diving companies nearby and they could have provided us with the contact details, but they did not. In addition, they last cancelled diving activities last minute if the number of divers was not as high as expected.

Rangiroa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Rangiroa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rangiroa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
