"Stayed in June 2015 (post earthquake)"
The hotel was nice though what sets it apart is the excellant staff at the front desk. They were helpful above and beyond what would ordinarily be expected. Additionally they serve (included in my room cost) an excellant buffet breakfast which included made to order eggs. Pokhara has not been harmed by the earthquake and we did not experience even one aftershock. If you want a reasonably priced trip to a lovely part of Nepal, then Temple Tree will suit you.

"Nice hotel very close to Fewa Lake"
Mr. Rishi-the manager of the hotel, is an amazing, polite, and friendly person. It was rainy, when I arrived, he was very helpful, he offered me an umbrella, when I visited the lake, in the afternoon. Overall, the hotel staff was great and efficient. The hotel has awesome view of the Himalayan Peak. The room, and the hotel was very clean.

"good quality budget hotel"
This hotel is in Lakeside but is a five minute walk to the lake. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a reception area for guests to receive visitors. It is in a quiet zone with not much traffic and the views are wonderful. You can see Annapurna south from your bedroom on a clear day ( be sure to ask about the views when choosing a room). The shower is good, the rooms all seem to have small balconies where you can enjoy the sun, beds are comfortable and there is tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a small seating area in the room and fridge. This is a 2/3 star hotel. It has a nice garden to sit out in and breakfasts are good. My invoice from Expedia said continental breakfast but I was entitled to a full breakfast according to the staff. Tea and coffee were constantly offered by the friendly staff.

"Nice hotel for the money"
Because I checked in late for one night I was put in a better standard room (as the only available) and later was moved to a cheaper more basic room (one I booked). The better standard room had a view of the lake and was fully functional. The cheaper room was on the first floor facing a street (not very noisy) and was also ok - however the bed was uncomfortable - hard and i could feel all the springs. Can't say if it was an odd one out bed or if all cheaper rooms have such beds. My advice would be to check when booking or book one of the better standard rooms. Walking distance from the main street, nice organic coffee one minute away from the hotel, staff friendly.

"A charming hotel"
This is the second time we visit Fish Tail lodge and we hope to come back again. This is a truly charming hotel with the rooms set in a beautifully maintained garden. The swimming pool area is very much enjoyable too and the restaurant is excellent. The service makes you feel at home.

"Expensive (by Nepali standards), but worth it!"
I stayed here after I finished a combo Annapurna Circuit & Base Camp trek, and I thoroughly enjoyed the huge bed, hot bath, invigorating massage, refreshing pool, and general cleanliness of the Atith after 24 days of the exact opposite of all that on the trail. Yeah, it's a lot pricier than most of the other places in Pokhara, but it's still a great value by standards anywhere else in the world. My friends I had made while trekking were very envious of my choice!

"I Had An Awesome Stay !"
The hotel is located in a perfect location on a side street of Lakeside therefore it was quieter than main road. I had hot showers, great internet service, a clean room, and the staff was the best. The views from my street front room were exceptional. I ate most of my meals here and the food was excellent. If you can, speak with Shambhu the waiter. He's the best ever and is always smiling. I will never forget his great smile and wonderful attitude. Stay here !

Pokhara is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Pokhara, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pokhara hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
