The location was great. Hotel was well appointed. Staff was very friendly (especially Maeve). Standard rooms are a tight fit but cute. Sadly, construction blocked the views of the water. Pool was tepid and steam room didn't work. All in all, would stay here again.

Limited spaces in pool area so couldn’t use them. Waited over 50 minutes for breakfast, they hadn’t put our order in, very surprised they didn’t ask why were sitting there for so long. Great location although there is significant construction and I specifically booked this hotel for the parking and the parking is an approximately 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel could have been a lot cleaner, too.

Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork
I had a good room on the 5th floor with a good view of the church next door. Room was tidy and made up everyday. Breakfast selection is good and the bar is nice to sit in. The car park is really tight and you are lucky if you get a space. Not a deal breaker though and i'd book to stay again.
