"avoid room 271!"
Hotel very clean and well presented but avoid room 271. It site at the end of a corridor and must be beside air con or heating system. It sounds like your trying to sleep in an aircraft - just awful. Needed to get out of the room to escape the noise. I didn't ask to move as there was a wedding on so it seemed unlikely that they would have had availability. Perhaps that's why I Expedia gave me a preferential rate for the room, which wasn't cheap.

"Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and food beautiful"
Lovely hotel which is spotless clean, we booked a family room which was excellent as there was lots of space - it was more like a suite as it contained two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom which was well stocked with toiletries, only problem the shower was not a walk in shower and this may prove a problem with someone with mobility problems, thankfully it was not a problem for us. The staff were excellent in every way possible. Only downside, there was no music or atmosphere in the bar or foyer - there were renovations going on in the dinning room so we had to use the bar for our evening meal which was no problem, and that may have been the reason there was no music and why people did not sit around or socialise in the foyer. Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay here and would return.

"Great place. Remote location"
This is a great place with a very nice room and wonderful staff. We have been using "Siri" on our iPhone and were directed straight in. Though it is well off the beaten trail there is a small town just down the road where we got dinner. Breakfast was good and we left satisfied with the whole experience.

"Old World Charm"
Castle Grove is a charming period house set in rural Donegal. The hotel building is in need of a coat of paint outside and a little refurb however that does not detract from the charm of the place. The reception rooms are beautiful and very cosy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, rather than having coffee in the bedroom, just ask the staff and they will prepare it for you complete with home made shortbread and enjoy it in the library or drawing room. The food was beautiful and waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Our drinks waiter was a very funny guy and quite knowledgeable. A minor point, the table cloths were definitely past their best and needed replaced but that aside it was a very enjoyable experience. Dont go expecting corporate slick looking rooms, this is not what this place is about. We wanted a relaxing experience with old world charm and we certainly got that. Would definitely reccommend this place for a weekend break.

Letterkenny is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Letterkenny, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Letterkenny hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
