"Great location, helpful staff"
Hotel is located just next to the beach, big supermarket, money exchange place and lots of shops and restaurants. In addition to it on the last floor, it has a great spa(literally the best massage I've ever had in my life), that is offering you a wide range of services. Hotel is nice and designed in a smart way up to the smallest detail.

"Beautiful hotel, superb location, great facilities"
If you're looking for a lovely hotel in Mauritius in which you can relax, swim, sit by the pool or on the beach, and eat quite a lot - all in a luxurious surrounding - then this is the place for you. I've given five stars for everything because in reality the things which did niggle me were so insignificant that it would seem almost churlish to mention them. But for the sake of balance, I will. The standard rooms are four star, I would say, rather than five. It just looked a tiny bit on the tired side, which is surprising considering how new the hotel apparently is. The Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur, for instance, would be (and is) five star. This is not quite at that level of supreme luxury. Secondly, if you're having dinner, I personally find it off-putting for a waiter to clear away my wife's plate while I'm still eating. It interferes with our relaxed dining experience. I'm surprised nobody has told the waiters not to do this. Thirdly, we did see a cockroach and a mouse in the dining area. But in a way, that's almost to be expected: it's a massive open dining area. So I should stress that at no point did I think anything was dirty or unhygienic. Finally, 95% of the staff were absolutely lovely. One was a bit moody. So if the worst I have to complain about is one moody waiter in a week, then I'd better get over myself. The list of positives is endless. I'm out of word space now, so the question is, would I go back? In a heartbeat.

"Very pleasant apartment/chalet complex"
Our chalet was eight metres from the beach. Most other chalets a little more. Food provided by the establishment was as good as local restaurants.

"Wow! Wow! Wow!"
Myself and my new husband spent 10 days at this beautiful little gem, for our honeymoon. I can not rate it highly enough. I had my reservations after reading some of the negative reviews......but am pleased to say that our experience was perfect from beginning to end. We were greeted by the hotel concierge, who was very helpful and supplied us with arrival cocktails and cold hand towels to cool us after our very long journey. I was overwhelmed to the point of tears of joy when we first arrived. The views absolutely took my breath away. The hotel is situated right at the beginning of the small village of Flic en Flac, making it very private and secluded from the main tourist beach.(Although everything including shops are within 10 minutes walk) It boasts its own private beach, which is absolutely stunning. The barrier reef stretches the length of the hotel grounds which means the water is quite shallow. This makes it ideal for snorkeling, kayaking and taking a swim. Snorkeling equipment, kayaks and a glass bottom boat are all available free of charge to use to explore the beautiful Indian Ocean. The hotel grounds are stunning with tropical gardens and lovely little nooks and crannies to hide away and relax. Both infinity pools are wonderful. They really do give you the impression you are swimming out into the ocean. Water aerobics classes are offered in the big pool on a daily basis free to hotel guests. The thing I found really great was that the pools were never over ru

"Decent hotel, but not the best value for money"
This hotel is about a 35 minute walk or 5 minute car ride from the beach. The rooms are nice with AC, TV, en suite and decent sized beds. The wifi is a bit temperamental. Hot water is difficult to come by in the morning, but speaking to my Mauritian friend this seems to be a common occurrence in most places as their water are solar powered, though you would not have this problem if staying in a bigger resort. Breakfast consists of bread with different spreads, various pastries, cereal, tea, coffee and juices. No eggs or bacon I'm afraid. My two biggest issues with the hotel was the value for money and the services/activities provided. I was in Mauritius for a wedding and my friends were staying in a five star resort on the beach and was paying less than I was. In terms of the services; the in house taxi driver was charging me 250 rupees to flic en flac (everyone else was 200), suggested snorkelling and swimming with dolphins for 2200 rupees (I did it for 1400 elsewhere) and I was sold a pack of cigarettes for 200 rupees (they go for 140-160 in supermarkets). Overall, independently this is a decent hotel but you can get much better value for your money if you went elsewhere.

"Excellent Villa with Awesome Service !! "
Enjoyed a week long stay in their 3 BR Ocean View Villa, and will definitely come back again !!!! Pros: 1. Fully equipped kitchen, and very well maintained amenities 2. Private Car Parking space right in front of the Villa 3. Very friendly English speaking staffs, free shuttle service 4. Nearby to flic en flac beach, Casela Park, Pasadena Shopping complex, Cascavelle Shopping Village Cons: 1. Not exactly an Ocean view villa.. A far away ocean can be seen from the balcony .. Its not one of the types which lets you step on Sand when you open your Balcony. Set your expectations right and you will definitely enjoy the stay !!

"Lovely hotel, beautiful location, poor food"
We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, right on the beach, pool, sea views, and the setting didn't disappoint. The hotel is lovely, beach beautifully sandy and sea like a warm bath. We made use of the free waterfront activities, a lovely bonus. Flic en Flac is a nice small town with amenities you need, a great area to visit.

Flic-en-Flac is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Flic-en-Flac, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Flic-en-Flac hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
