We chose the hotel based on its reviews and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is a credit to Sentido and its friendly, caring and thorough staff, from the room staff, beach towel man, restaurant waiters and managers,to the concierge, desk and front of house management team. The rooms are large and comfortable(they will even get you a softer mattress on request!). The food was good and varied choice. Everywhere was clean and appeared well cared for.

just spent 2 weeks here with my family (wife and 2 boys 11 and 8), and we all agree, we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is lovely, rooms are a decent size and very clean and the air conditioning is fantastic, staff and animation team are great. The gym is excellent, however the heat in there makes working out a real struggle. Pools are fantastic and the slides were great fun for the first few days but the novelty soon wore off. Beach is decent although not much of it is not covered by loungers. Sea was lovely and clear and the snorkelling is okay (you're much better off walking over to the fort arabesque beach where the main reef is, and where the snorkelling is great!).
Now for the negatives, by no means severe nor deal breakers but it is worth noting that the details make things go from great to excellent. first off, I sent numerous emails to the hotel before our trip and they never responded to any of them. These were basic enquiries just so I could prepare our stay a little better, but the lack of response made me slightly apprehensive before our arrival. Next was the amount of rubbish in the pools, glasses, bottles, plastic bottle wrappers, paper. this is, to a certain extent no ones direct fault as the wind does pick up and sweep stuff off the tables and pool bars, however, i think the hotel could make more of an effort to thoroughly clean the pools in the morning before clients come and settle down for the day, and bar staff should remove the plastic wrappers on t

We stayed 3 nights and wish it had been more. The rooms were clean and in top condition. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good, especially by Egyptian standards. The snorkeling off the jetty was convenient and easy with a very nice reef (stingrays, parrot fish, angels, puffers, and MANY more, plus a good amount of living coral). We'll definitely go back. The beach area was clean with nice chairs and shades. The vendors were polite and definitely NOT pushy.

We spent the weekend in this resort and were very satisfied. Professional staff, excellent food (oriental and international cuisine), rooms were very clean and comfortable, access to the coral reef for snorkelling and diving from the beach. Definitely recommended

Beautiful resort hotel with lovely grounds, very quiet but many activities: diving centre, volley ball, aqua arobics, fab infinity pool and superb massages. Very shallow coral reef with amazing fish on main private beach which can be shorkelled but not walked on and not deep enough for real swimming; but building a pier to access deep water for swimming other side of reef. Recommend this place for relaxation. Can get mini van in police convoy to Luxor to visit the incredible Temple of Karnak and Valley of the Kings c 4 hours. Great belly dancing night with really good BBQ - some food bland, great cocktails and fine Egytian wine. Staff really good especially room staff. In local town El Quseir: Omar Khyam is a good new restaurant by local market, and The Marriane, much cheaper restaurant on beach with good simple fish. Look out for camel lorries returning from Sudan-border market! Shopkeepers on the main street are big hasslers but less so on the front.
