A friendly hotel very clean lovely staff but a few niggles. The heating seemed a problem some rooms very hot,our friends had to move and our other friends had a cold room. The bar was very cold I didn't take my coat off.Breakfast was very nice but we were never offered tea or coffee we always had to seek out someone to ask.

"Lovely hotel close to trainstation and town"
Shaky start to our stay as the room we where put in at first was not suitable for a wheelchair but it was sorted quickly. Rooms very warm and if your on the ground floor the window barely opens.. And last but not least the drink was horrible . I drink budweiser and it tasted like it had soap in it and it had no gas.

"It's perfect for a mid week break with kids. "
We arrived just before 3pm for check in and found the room wasn't ready. So.we took our two boys aged 5 and 3 years old to the play park beside the hotel for a bit. Then went back and warmed up with a the bar. Checked about the room about 4 and it still wasn't ready. Not a huge problem but we had wanted to take the boys to the pool that afternoon. Again not a huge problem and reception staff were really good. We did get a little bored in the bar area and trying to maintain some degree of control.over two boys who were starting to fidget and grow in volume was unwanted. Anyways they did give the boys icecream vouchers which keep them happy and access to a local attraction as.a way of saying sorry for the delay. Which was nice. The hotel had a kids club and our boys loved it and the swimming pool. So for a mid week relatively cheap family holiday it was perfect

"Friendly, welcoming hotel"
We had a lovely break, staying in main hotel. The accommodation was homely and the hotel has a lovely, traditional feel. The food was excellent, with breakfasts offering a mix of traditional Irish fare and continental options.

"Hotel nice surroundings"
Staff in white room Very pleasant and extremely helpful, also staff in Italian restaurant very pleasant, and food delicious. Reception staff very officious,no warmth in their greeting, also no information booklet in rooms to advice of meal times and closure times of same .We were advised on our arrival that white room served meals up to 8pm which we availed of that night ,and next night we decided to eat again in same as had late lunch, but informed it was closed early ,staff there were very helpful and organized light meal in Italian restaurant. Also future guests check your bill when checking out , as we were charged 10e over very small amount but none the less still incorrect.

"Wonderful authentic Irish hospitality"
D and family & staff were wonderful! She let us checkin 5 hours early upon arrival after a tired plane ride. Food was fabulous! Restaurant onsite a plus. The restaurant is open on Sundays too. If you are looking to stay in a B&B where you will meet and mingle with the locals on your stay in Ireland than The Meetings is the place for you. There is a bar and restaurant onsite where all the locals come to mingle, eat, sing, & watch sporting events on TV. It gave us a real feel of Ireland on our first night stay. They had live Irish music onsite too playing outside on the patio area. We got to meet many Irish locals from town and even the local stray dogs who everyone loved to give lots of attention to and joined in on the fun. Rooms were very clean! coffee & tea always available. Beautiful views from the decks around the premises. Loved the historical park next to the B&B which tells of the history of Thomas Moore and his famous poem written on the River Avoca "The Meeting of the Waters". A very beautiful and tranquil spot for photos and peace of mind. The setting of this B&B is absolutely gorgeous on the River Avoca. If you are looking for a fancy place to stay than this B&B is not for you. But if you are looking for the real taste of Ireland where you will feel the love of the Irish people and their wonderful hospitality, and want to experience a peaceful night stay or weekend stay in a beautiful and tranquil setting than "The Meetings" is your kinda place.

Craanford is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Craanford, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Craanford hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
