"Quiet place, pleasant staff, great pool."
Very well kept grounds. Friendly and receptive staff. Good security. A GREAT POOL. What is referred to as "Island Hopping" is a great way to spend a day if you like to snorkel or Scuba. A little out of the way so the restaurant is in use more often than other such resorts and the menu while offering some interesting dishes, could be more comprehensive. This is a great venue for any comprehensive business meeting with a desire to show the positive side of the Philippines. It is also a somewhat romantic location for a couple that desires a quiet place.

"New hotel in secluded area"
I enjoyed our stay at Solea Mactan. We had a lovely new room with great views over the sea. As it was a new hotel some areas were still unfinished but overall it did not affect our stay. Plenty of pools to swim in, a lagoon for kayaking, plenty of beautiful outdoor settings and also a neighbouring sister hotel which you could also use their facilities like the gym. Things that may need to be addressed are - no information book in the room - no shuttle to anywhere and hotel was very isolated. - no gowns or slippers - no tour desk, just a folder at reception with a few suggested tours - tiles around pool especially the infinity pool were extremely slippery - only one restaurant with affordable prices, no snack area or shop or separate bar - roof top bar not completed as yet. - Shower/ bath may be too high for some people to get in. - Staff are still learning but were very friendly. Overall a great place when fully completeand if you just want to unwind and relax. Also not far from airport as you dont have to go through cebu city But if you want to be part of the cebu experience or maybe want to stay on a nice white beach, you would probably be better staying somewhere else

"Nice hotel but no beach or three pools!"
The staff, minus the front desk, were so kind and helpful. Always ready to stop and chat for a moment. The front desk just felt loke the had a job to do, not rude, but not as the rest. The room was big enough for a young family of four. Everything was provided for when I needed it. Food was food and drinks were cold. The resort itself is pretty clean and well kept. while there are 3 pools, only one, which was the smallest, was open to use... There is an infinity pool, but not the best for two young kids. It seems as they are remodeling or building... Not too sure what is going on... But the pool does get crowded as the biggest pool is not open till next month. There is no beach... There is sand... There is a bar... There is no beach... The beach on the man made lagoon is not a beach... The beach in front of the ocean is not a beach. Overall, my kids loved it there, had no problems swimming away, enjoying the sun, food and drinks and just relaxing. 3 days, four nights... Just about the right amount of time!

Cordova is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Cordova, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Cordova hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
