"Relaxing hotel."
Enjoyed a lovely stay at Hoyohoy villas. Right on the beach. Only downside is locality of nearby port with some noise as a result. Otherwise a superb spot. The staff were excellent and room cleaning was top notch. We had brought a lot of sand into room etc and everyday spotless. Hotel staff accommodating and will allow bespoke times/venues for dinner to cater to guests needs. This hotel is small but a gem of a find. Would be great for couples looking for a relaxing spot on Bantayan. Could do with safe in room but apart from that a lovely stay with a lot extra beautifying touches by the staff which adds to the simple but luxurious feel. If you want extensive facilities, this resort is not for you, but if you want a quiet refuge during your stay on Bantayan, then this one is in my opinion is a great choice.

"Fantastic stay for a budget hotel"
Place was pretty new and very well maintained. Every thing worked and only negative was there only seemed to be about 10 satellite channels. Staff were extremely accommodating and we did nothing it far from the market area Santa Fe. We had a motorbike but it appeared to be only an extra 10 minute walk or a cheap 3 minute tricycle ride to the heart of the Santa Fe action ... :)

"Simple hotel close to the beach"
Stayed for two nights in a Non Beachfront Cottage. The room was very simple, but had all we needed. The hotel staff was friendly, but did not provide much information unless asked. For example, they didn't tell us that we could not flush paper in the toilet... This problem was (thankfully!) resolved quickly. The staff will be able to arrange for several activities if asked. We had a boat take us to Virgin Island for the first day, got thai massage in our room, and had a private guided tour of the island on the last day.

"Nice place to cell (almost) or wifi "
They have an on site restaurant that has a buffet breakfast. The food is good. Service is good if you speak the language. English is confusing at times for the staff. There is NO wifi despite what they say. Cell service is minimal at best. But the pool and grounds are nice.

"Great and modern accomodation"
We have been in Santa Fe for 3 days and would warmly welcome from the owner and his family. The appartment was huge and had a very modern facility. It consists of a huge living room with a nice seating group. Also a big flat screen of about 40 inches was available. The bedroom had an air condition, a double bed and enough place to accomodate our things. The stuff in the kitchenete sufficents for a breakfast only, toast and coffe. No rise coker or hot plate to cook anything. Also weak was the free wifi in the room. Beside wifi and hot plate we were totally satisfy with this place. We can recommend the Micky Santories Appartment any time.

Casa del Mar Beach Resort

"City Escape"
The drive to Casa del Mar took around 2 hours from the city as expected being located in the beautiful San Remigio area. I've grown tired of the urban scene so the remote beach location was exactly what I was after. Not too remote however as there is a small town located near the hotel. The resort itself has its own beach front which I took full advantage of. Most of my time was spent on the sun loungers or taking a dip in either the pool or the sea. Wifi is provided via a portable dongle and is good for mostly emails but I prefer to limit my computer use in a place like this. Staff on site were exceptionally friendly and were always eager to tend to myself or the other guests.

"Nice quiet hotel"
I enjoyed my stay. It's very quiet, which I like, and secluded. During my time there I felt like I was the only one there. When reading other reviews, I do agree, you're kinda restricted to your eating options as there is only one restaurant. The pool was great though, as my party and I were the only ones enjoying it. It was odd that rooms are late to be cleaned there, as I was out and about and came back to room to rest at about 2 and it was still not made up. But they did come clean eventually. Overall it was good and I would return again.

Bantayan Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bantayan Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
