"Nice hotel with a fantastic ocean view. "
Loved the view from the room(s). Staff are great and they take care of all your requests. Free breakfast is limited but not bad. However there is absolutely nothing nearby to even buy a coffee. You will sendup paying "tourist" prices for everything that is available at hotel restaurant. Getting transportation to go to the city centre is not easy after 6 pm should you want to buy your dinner from somewhere else.

"Long weekend and attend wedding."
Stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the function we attended. Our room was modern and clean, shower was hot (after running for a few moments). Improvements were ongoing at the site but didn't interfere with our enjoyment. All staff from reception to the dining room and room attendants were polite, cheerful and helpful. Arrangements for our transport was efficient. Will stay again on next visit to Bohol - thankyou.

"Oasis in Bohol"
We recently spent two nights at Amorita. Overall we were very pleased with the experience however a few things need improvement. We were collected from the airport and shuttled to the resort in a private van. Our driver was very good. He gave us lots of tips for our stay and was a capable driver. When you first walk into Amorita it feels very relaxed. Wide open spaces in the resort with well kept gardens give a peaceful feel to the place. The staff are also very welcoming. Efficient yet not rushed. We were shown to our room, it was a long walk from reception. Air con was already on when we entered, a welcome relief from the summer heat. A quick explanation of the workings and we were left alone. The room was nice, it had two double beds. The bathroom is open to the bed area, separated by a wooden lattice divider. Shower and toilet are behind separate smoked glass doors. The vanity area with mirror was poorly lit. Not good for makeup or shaving. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary juices and sodas. Also some cookies were delivered later in the day. Nice touch. We explored the pool area. Two infinity pools with plenty of room to relax. Shaded areas also available. Short walk to the beach area. The resort is on top of a cliff and to get to the beach a short flight of stairs was available. Breakfast buffet needs polishing. Food choices were limited, eggs were pre-cooked and cold, ants on the fruit. Not acceptable for a hotel of this standard.

"Perfect place to relax! "
We booked the rooms through Expedia but still got an email from Amarela offering us a free airport transfer. This is just the beginning of how good we felt about choosing Amarela. We were received by friendly staff at the airport and at the hotel - check-in was a breeze. The hotel has a lovely pool, clean beach (watch out for the urchins), lots of space for kids to play, games room and a great collection of DVDs and books to borrow. The restaurant has a decent selection of both local and western food - their daily specials make up for not having a large selection on the menu. Overall, a great place for anyone who wants to to explore Bohol or just want to relax - it is especially great for families.

Baclayon is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Baclayon, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Baclayon hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
