Can I change the name under which the hotel room is reserved?

No - you can add a guest name, but you can't change it. The person whose name the room is booked under originally will need to be present at time of check-in. Hotels will require a credit card authorization to guarantee payment of any incidental charges that you may incur during the stay. The amount of available credit needed will vary by hotel, although some hotels allow a cash deposit to secure any incidentals.

If you have booked only one room for your stay, you will not be able to transfer the name of the original guest to another guest name. All Hotwire Hot Rate bookings are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, changed, exchanged, or transferred. The cancellation policies for our standard rates vary by hotel and room type.
