We had a knocking noise that went off and on/soft and loud throughout our stay. We told the front desk and they thought it could be air in some pipe or line. We didn't want to change rooms because we were settled and it was no more annoying than cars or people talking when staying in a motel away from home. We were out of the room most of the time and so tired that it only bothered us when first falling asleep.

Excellent desk person.
Very brief stay given early flight I needed to catch and the need for the 3:30 AM wake up call which was delivered as requested . I did get a room with pretty good accessories, but the approximately 10x10 room was cramped in a way which was only marginally comfortable. (e.g. the electric outlet strip was about 6 feet away from the cramped computer pull out desk on the opposite wall of the room; when I sat on the commode, my knees were about 12 inches from the opposite wall; etc.) It was a serviceable room for the need I had, but I would not have accepted it had I planned for a more routine stay.

Beautifully remodeled hotel. Bright airy and fresh feeling. Room was comfy and adequate space. Didn't get a chance to check out pool or restaurant but they did have complimentary champagne, water bottles, towels, and coffee in the AM. one drawback was there wasn't any secure parking just outside in the parking lot.

The Hotel staff were nice and helpful our toilet backed up and they came within 15-30 minutes and fixed it. Bathrooms need cleaned better the tub was chipped and peeling, tub floor was filthy so we did not use the shower. Otherwise it was ok beds were comfortable, rooms are very dark with just a little lighting so need the curtain open. Hotel pool is shared with the Comfort Inn next door and we had to ask how to get to it and they had the music up way to loud in the pool area. The breakfast was lacking most now serve eggs, bacon and other things like that this just had waffles, cold cereal, juice, fruit and danishes.

Good, clean hotel and rooms. Very polite and professional staff. The only drawback was a very noisy heater/air conditioning unit. If you book here, try to get a room on the east side, away from the airport side.

The only con I had was at the bar where you could order food.. the bartender seemed to be completely clueless.. we ordered then watched everyone walk in ..order food.. walk out with food shortly.. meanwhile we were still sitting there.

Affectionately referred to as “Ypsi,” Ypsilanti is home to Eastern Michigan University. With about 23,000 students, the university plays a major role in the city's progressive outlook. The historic Depot Town district is the setting for events such as ElvisFest and the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival. The distinctively shaped Ypsilanti Water Tower is perhaps the city's most-photographed sight.
