Definitely a rustic stay. It's very nice to be close to the geysers and convenient, however, it is probably more pricy than its worth. The park is beautiful and the people are great so its too hard to complain too much.

The property had just opened after the winter season. We had mechanical issues with our first room, but the staff went out of their way to quickly make things right. The new room was very good and resolved any issues. I can not compliment the staff more highly. Plenty of lounge areas throughout the lodge.

The big advantage is convenience otherwise a big disappointment. Staff not friendly, no ac or tv, mascara marks on pillow and a used face cloth stuck in shower curtain. Beds were comfortable.

Wonderful location and an awesomeness trip to Yellowstone. We we disappointed with the restaurant here soup was inedible and server said they could add water to make it taste better!! Our cabin was older which is fine but there was black hair in the shower plug and a pair of ladies underpants hanging on the shower curtain. But we accept we were paying for the location and understand it was the start of the season.

Everyone was great and the place was the perfect Yellowstone experience. Our only comment- we signed up for 11am check out, had the do not disturb sign on the door, and housekeeping knocked on our door at 9:30 am. And she had the information on her clip board that we were to checkout at 11. Not the right exit feeling.
