Historic Chapter House is great for history buffs

The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The building is very old so there were some issues with noisy window air conditioners and leaky plumbing, but if you like historic buildings this one is lovely. They seem to be struggling to maintain all the grounds which are extensive. The staff were extremely nice which made the stay much more pleasant. The location was excellent, although leaving the parking lot was a little frightening due to low visibility and crazy Massachusetts drivers. I would recommend this to anyone who likes historic buildings and expansive grounds with lovely flowers. If you are looking for the latest amenities this is not for you.

Very old hotel/inn .. limited conveniences. Areas that were neglected, including the driveway and the lower level. The air conditioning unit in the window had mold in it. The bathroom had a faucet from the 1970s and an acrylic tub enclosure. I expected more.

The historic building has plenty of character, though some fixtures like the bathroom showers show their age. The chapter house was a great surprise, a really nice hotel with character in a very nice part of Dennis. The staff was friendly, the bar had great cocktails, and the atmosphere was excellent. I would highly recommend it, a much better experience than your standard hotel.

There are a lot of steps at this property. Our room was up a fairly steep, skinny staircase which made it challenging to get our large suitcases to our room. It is an old building with lots of character. Room was large but bathroom was small and not really able to accommodate two people at a time. Limited breakfast but overnight oats and yogurt parfait was good. Had a great patio with a fire pit. Overall nice but would not stay again.

Lovely property. Not completely worth the high price tag (high humidity in the room, noisy above the kitchen, staff were ok, not super pleasant), but I guess that's the price you pay for a few summer nights in Cape Cod. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Location wasn't far from most places we wanted to visit.
