"well-appointed and clean"
My family and I stayed at the Inn and enjoyed our experience. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast offered is plentiful. The library/game room upstairs is lovely as well. Would stay here again.

"Very nice location, accommodations and hosts"
We loved it, it was out very first time in Woodstock and the location could have not been better. Wini the owner was so nice and engaging. Breakfast was a treat with her and her husband Dixie sharing experiences and telling us about Vermont. We highly recommend this location, rooms were comfortable, clean and so historic feeling which is what we were looking for.

"Peaceful and high end "
The inn is lovely. Impeccably clean with Frette linens and many small touches such as coffee each morning, water and drinks in several places and top notch service. The inn owners are very friendly but do not hover. You don't even realize there are other people in the Inn until breakfast time! We will go back in the summer to see the grounds and enjoy Woodstock when it's not as cold. The breakfast is 5 star. I may suggest a bagel basket for those of us with uneducated pallets, but the food you get here is better than a gourmet restaurant in NYC. One of nicest places we have ever stayed.

"Fantastic little inn on the outskirts of town."
My husband and I came here for a mini honeymoon and were quite happy with the stay. Mara and Jevgenija are SO incredibly nice, communicative and open to making anyone's stay enjoyable. The inn is warm even on the freezing nights and the bed comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The library was great to sit and read in with a fireplace and overlooking the river and covered bridge. We loved the creaky uneven floors that this 1800s building supplies and loved the tavern with great drinks and Mara's knowledge of wonderful wines to pair with our extraordinary meal! We recommend staying for the four course prix fie dinner at least one of the nights - it is exquisite, European inspired and truly of wonderful quality, presentation and price. Anywhere in Boston or another city, the quality and amount of food would be SO much more! We would recommend this inn to anyone who enjoys Vermont, the uniqueness of quiet country life, wants to get away, read and find comfort in a small inn that is run by two splendid and amazing people who are lovely to talk to and very accommodating!

Pocket Guide: Central Vermont- Killington Woodstock Hotels

A quaint town, Woodstock's main attractions include the Historic Town Hall Theatre with a variety of cultural events, the Dana House Museum, which depicts Americana from the early 1800s, and the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. The park preserves a managed forest and progressive dairy farm that was begun by Vermont native and financier Frederick Billings in the late 1800s.
