Rooms are well used but tidy. Staff is very helpful. Good functional breakfast. Lots of shuttles to and from the base lodge. Exactly what you need for a group of friends or a family ski trip.

"excellent hotel stay"
The Inn was extremely clean, cozy, and quaint. The ownwers, John and Rachel went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Their breakfast was absolutely delicious. I even ordered seconds, and they didn't charge me. I offered to pay many times, but Rachel was adamant. Robin, the server/cook went above and beyond excellent. Her service and her friendliness were excellent. It was our pleasure to know her. The rooms were clean. The beds very comfortabele. Shower had all amenities for us(shampoo, conditioner, body wash). We usually stay at a big hotel near Mt. Snow. Now I know what we have been missing, the personal touch. We will most definitely be back soon. Expedia rates this a 3 star hotel, but it should be a 5 star hotel

"Trendy, without being uptight"
I've been to other B&Bs in Vermont (and beyond) and always thought they just "weren't my thing". Turns out, I've been going to the wrong places. No lace doilies, uncomfortable and musty antique sofas, or moth ball scented linens here! The architecture is unique, interesting, and keeps you looking at every angle (don't worry, there are convenient railings to hold onto so you don't fall while your eyes wander- which they will!) They truly are "green"- our room was heated with all passive solar and it was HOT. I appreciated the composting, local organic products, and fragrance free environment. And even though it felt NYC trendy, it was also cozy and comfortable like my hometown of Ithaca. There were books on shelves all over the house, board games, cards, throw blankets/pillows in common areas, and snacks in the kitchen. We came for a sister weekend and hung out in the lounge drinking wine and playing cards, and felt very comfortable doing so. Other guests joined in at times. It was casual and relaxing. Met some nice people! I don't think this would be great for kids or people with difficulty navigating stairs. Don't come if you plan to fight with your partner because YES all the guests can hear you!!!

"Relaxing and luxurious "
The Windham Hill Inn is nestled on a spectacular spot in the mountains of Vermont. Remote, quiet and romantic, the Inn has all the amenities one could ask for. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, but the best part of the day is spent contemplating the wooded mountain range from the pool, an Adirondack chair, or a comfy chair in the sunroom.

"Great Bargain!"
This place was a happy surprise! First off, it was easy to find. Second, it was a bargain. But unlike many other bargains, this place was immaculate. If you just want a decent place to lay your head inexpensively, this is it. Also, it had free wi-fi, which you often pay extra for at thrifty places. I had a few minor issues--could have used a better reading light, and I would have appreciated a light in the space right outside the bathroom, which had a large mirror. Also, there was no grab bar or bathtub mat, which would have been a comfort to a senior like me. But these issues were minor. The bed was comfortable; the TV was large and easy to use; the room was good-sized and a comfortable temperature. The manager made me a fresh pot of coffee when I came into the office, where we chatted briefly. He said that they were renovating the restaurant next door, so keep tuned.

"A Good Deal"
I would like to compliment the hotel, that at the price we paid, they actually served a real breakfast which really adds to the value of staying here. The indoor heated pool was actually heated enough to be just that and the dry sauna worked. A spacious hotel so you do not feel cramped.

"Nice parking and accessible to the lift. "
The rooms carpet is smelly or some oily smell from the entire hotel. The fireplace is not really a warm functioning one but just decorating. No laundry or washer inside the apt, with the price paid, not quite decent for that cost.

Windham County is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Windham County, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Windham County hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
