Looks like new owner/manager. We had a room in an adjoining building away from the motel. The room was large. It had everything we needed, (TV, Micro, refrigerator, A/C ).. The owner was very, nice. It had an outside pool. We did not have breakfast there. I would recommend the place to friends.

The friendly welcome to the charming motel located about 10 miles outside Williamstown cheered us after a long drive. The rooms are larger than one might expect and everything, inside and out, is scrubbed and pristine. The pool is pleasant as are the tables and chairs and sun umbrellas around it. Our room had a small kitchen which was very useful for picnics. The continental breakfast featured seasonal fresh fruit [yummy!], granola, other cold cereals, muffins, bagels, bread for toasting with butter, jam, cream cheese. Modern bathrooms. Good A.C. Quiet. Easy parking.

Staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating. I accidentally booked a room with a single queen bed when I needed a room with two beds. The staff were able to accommodate the room switch easily.

A friend and I booked on Expedia based on price. It is the off-season (early September) and we were looking for low priced accommodations for 2 nights. Our intent was to find a place to stay that would satisfy our basic needs for showering and sleeping. We were not in the area for vacation, but we were there for a specific purpose; to see the Vincent Van Gogh exhibit at The Clark. I chose Green Valley because it was in Williamstown, the online photographs looked very nice, and the amenities included an outdoor inground swimming pool, which also looked very nice in the photos. The photos were obviously taken at a time when the motel was much younger. Overall, however, the motel was adequate for our purposes.

Lovely setting off Rt. 7 and so close to Williamstown. The feeling is laid-back and cozy, nothing luxurious but that's not the point. Excellent pub on the grounds within a minutes walk. Delightful, yet lite continental breakfast provided.

Education, art, and nature come together in Williamstown, a college town in the most northwestern corner of Massachusetts at the edge of the Taconic Mountains. Each year during July and August the campus of prestigious Williams College hosts the Tony winning Williamstown Theater Festival. Also in town are the galleries, exhibits, and 140 acres of wetland trails at the Clark Art Institute.
