"Great boutique hotel "
Beautiful boutique hotel with great decor, the lounge is inviting along with the bar set up in the middle of the atrium which extends to the top of the building. My room had extremely tasteful decor, charming and inviting. The room overlooked the atrium below, which was quiet. The king size bed was amazingly comfortable and the rain shower was welcomed after being out during the day. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Victoria Hotel

"Nice building, not well serviced at the moment"
Beautiful Victorian building and over the road from the station with free parking so very handy. Rooms have high ceilings and nice decor, and are clean. Decent bath and shower, not much storage but okay for a few days. Where it fell down was the service; on arrival, big line to check in, one lady doing her best on the desk while others were doing other things. Had two breakfasts, arrived with over half an hour left to go for each, no pastries left, no cups or glasses out, half the hot food needing replenishing, and when it was it wasn't the nicest. We had a lie in and found a café to breakfast in on the third day. The one day when we needed our room changed we put the 'please service our room' sign up at noon (two hours left before end of shift) and it didn't happen. There was a wedding on this weekend and it was a bank holiday. That's understandable but if you know things are happening in advance there should be planning in place to be able to deal with them. Besides I read similar recent reviews so it seems it wasn't just us.

"A nice pub type hotel."
A fine friendly hotel, good value for money, I would stay their again. I have slightly marked down the facilities/condition because the central heating had a fault which meant the room was chilly. They had already provided a fan heater and said it would fix the heating in a day or so,which I am sure they will.

"Poor decorated and outdated rooms"
I booked last minute for a chilling out weekend with my daughter as having building work going on at home for weeks so a chilling weekend was in order. I checked in late on the Friday evening to find a very poorly and outdated room (room 125) and the television had a very picture. I called down to reception for someone to check the TV out however, they were unable to sort it but was offered a complimentary bottle of wine and a free upgrade but they didn't have any spare upgrade rooms for the Friday night only on the Saturday night. I was told to back our belonging in the morning and they would be removed and taken to our upgrade room. On our return Saturday teatime I asked at reception what our new room number was only to be told we don't have any. I explained the situation and they found me a room however I had to go get our belonging from our previous room and them and then go to our upgrade room. Great room on upperdeck with sky but attention to detail on the cleaning as coffee/tea marks on the walls and paint work. On a negative the customer service could definitely be improved. I have stayed in many of your hotels including Edinburgh, Bournemouth and I am a member of your hotel at Tingley.

"Historic hotel, mix of old and new"
This hotel was in between a 3-star and 4-star level. I got the single room with double bed. Nice enough. Location is away from the loud bars and nightclubs but walkable to those if you wanted to hit those at night. Bathroom was pretty fancy and large.

West Yorkshire is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in West Yorkshire, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your West Yorkshire hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
