We had a great experience the 5 days we stayed there - staff was friendly, room and hotel itself was clean and the breakfast wasn't bad. The only issue we had was a terrible smell on the second floor - sewer like, or perhaps a rotting animal in the vents, at one point the smell traveled to our room, was very stressful t deal with.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. I was staying alone during the Equine Affaire in November. Yes the motel is dated and has just the basic needs but it was very clean, quiet and everything worked. The staff was wonderful and I had all that I required for a two night stay. And it took me about 30 seconds to get to my destination.

We were put in a wheelchair access room on the first floor. So the bathroom was strange and the room layout was a little weird. Location was noisy close to housekeeping. Probably the Expedia bargain price.
Staff excellent, breakfast varied and well stocked, location convenient to Springfield , freeways and restaurants.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. It is clean and the rooms are spacious. It also offers hot coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, hot breakfast and is walking distance to restaurants. Shopping 5-10 minutes by car. We would stay here again.

Across the Connecticut River from Springfield, this town is home to the Josiah Day House, the oldest brick saltbox-style house in the U.S. The Big E, New England's largest fair, takes place each autumn at the Eastern States Exposition. The area is also home to Storrowton Village, a living museum that recreates life in 19th-century New England. Six Flags New England is a few miles south in Agawam.
