We had a few issues with guests screaming and fighting at 4am and screaming children at 6am. The hotel took care of the fighting guests immediately. Hotel accommodations were nice though and we realize they cannot control the people that stay. I would request a higher floor next time.

"Nice old hotel in downtown "
We stayed one night here. The hotel lobby and other public areas are beautifully restored historic spaces. Our room was a little disappointing - very small, a little drab. The restaurant and rooftop bar are very nice. The location is a little dicey. A very run down area, a few homeless people sleeping in doorways a block from the hotel. I wouldn’t walk outside at night.

"Nice, no frills hotel in a good location"
I'd give the hotel 3.5 stars, but there is no way to do that. At check-in, my reservation (for which I had already paid) was incorrect but was quickly rectified. Front desk clerk didn't explain anything except where my room was situated. I had to call to ask about the laundry room and to explore to find other facilities. The cleaning staff were very nice and professional and the wait staff at the attached restaurant were great. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. TV had Showtime and lots of channels. I didn't find the chair comfortable. The room had a refrigerator but no extras. There was no free breakfast. Don't try to find free tea; there is no way to get it. I had four meals at the attached restaurant and enjoyed them all. Location, in the Old Historic district and close to the highway, was very good. It's a reasonable walk to museums, the zoo and the aquarium. I'd recommend the Natural Science museum. And, if you like mountains, drive up to the Sandia Crest. It's also near the beginning of a 16-mile walk/bike path.

Carpets and rooms are very outdated, but kept clean. Staff is friendly and free breakfast is super. Building is a bit too far removed from everything. Quiet and felt secure, though. Not a bad place to stay if you want to save money.

"Nice hotel, but"
I liked the hotel, but by it being right next to the freeway the outside noise was a little loud.

"Best hotel in Old Town"
A great hotel with friendly staff! There were conferences going on which made the lobby a little congested in the morning and evenings but it was tolerable. We had a junior suite which was huge. For our 4 night stint in Old Town, it was perfect. 5 minute walk to quaint Old Town. Absolutely would stay again if ever in Albuquerque again!!!

The staff was Great, freindly, I was in town due to my boyfriend being flown up from Roswell with a heart condition. Staff was helpful, received discount due to family member in hospital. The Hospital is not far from the hospital which was great. Restaurant had good food, well priced. I came with minimal clothes, they had a washer and dryer, much needed.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in West Mesa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your West Mesa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
