Driving into estate to find reception proved complicated for us, we followed the directions but not knowing the hotel layout we found we were approaching from the rear through the bar( we were not alone in this as later while having a drink in the bar other guests trundled through with bags). Having carried our luggage in we then found our room was some distance away in another wing, lesson learned, find out where your room is before you unload car, especially as we found there was parking on other sites around the hotel closer to accomodation. The room was quite well equipped but a bit cold for our liking and although we tried turning up the heater it did not get any warmer. Disappointingly we did then not use the swimming pool as we hoped to as we found it was not accessible through the hotel but would mean a walk outside, and, as we were feeling cold already it didn't seem very inviting, hence we ended up with a warming drink in the bar! On the positive the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed a good meal in the bar area.

We had a pleasant weekend at the above hotel and worked around the various coach parties in attendance. The bedroom was in a separate block was of a reasonable size but looked a little tired in the bathroom. Dinner was good, and the bar area pleasant enough if not a little dark. The staff were excellent throughout the visit. The hotel is clearly well suited to visiting either Warwick or Stratford and further afield the cotswolds and birmingham

Lovely stay, really close to Warwick and castle, fab food - highly recommend the restaurant for families, it was a shame our bed was very uncomfortable as we didn't sleep but the rest of the group had a great time! (5 rooms altogether for 17 people and only 1 uncomfortable bed which they did try to sort for us!)

A fashionable spa town in the 19th century, Royal Leamington Spa received its noble title after a visit from Queen Victoria. Today, Leamington is popular for its preserved architecture and shopping center. Nearby Warwick is home to the medieval Warwick Castle. Perched on a bluff, visitors who dare to walk the castle walls are rewarded with expansive views of the River Avon valley.
