We booked at the last minute. Massive hostel with good facilities. Big garden. A bit far from the centre of town, but we had a car. Stratford is a beautiful town, and this is a good place to stay while visiting.

The heavy door in my room is quite noisy when closed. For a beautiful old charming place for a hotel, there should be at least air conditioning and small fridge in every room. I can also hear the noises in the corridor whenever someone is getting into their room, and again the loud bang as they close their doors. Overall it's a nice place to stay because of the old character of the building and location. Waitress in the bar area is a little bit looking like she's stressed when serving, makes me wonder why. Breakfast is relatively very basic for the price I paid. Went to dine one night and nothing really special from the menu. A little bit disappointed in that aspect. I give it a 3.5 star rating.

Very comfortable though fairly pricey - we were 4 people altogether with 3 in one room and 1 in the other and the cost was much greater than just 2 doubles which didn't seem to make sense.
The z bed provided for my daughter could have done with a thicker mattress however we chose it for being opposite the RSC and comfort and would definitely return.

We were told that breakfast was not included but we were sure we had booked it but our confirmation e mail was silent on this aspect, so we have had to pay for breakfast and we would not have booked this price if it had not included breakfast!

We stayed two nights. Staff were excellent, The room was very good. We will stay again early next year and can recommend the hotel to all. The Saturday night cost was £269 which was high and the Sunday night was more reasonable at £119, less than half the price... we seemed to be 'penalised' by the fact there was a wedding on the Saturday and they must have booked a lot of rooms.

I really loved this hotel, and I cannot express how much I would recommend it to anyone going into Stratford. I had known about it during my first trip I would have booked it. It was a bit more on the expensive side but it was worth every penny. They provided me with the most comfortable bed. On top, I was given a nespresso machine to make my coffee, some deluxe tea, and high end toiletries. The biscuits they provided were baked at the hotel and were amazing. oh! They also gave me sort port to try, which was delicious! If you are looking for somewhere to have dinner, then I would recommend having dinner at the Townhouse. I tried the duck breast and it was so good I finished the plate. I really wanted to try the fillet but my stomach couldn't take anymore and that's when I wished I was staying one more night.

Worked late and had an early start so just needed somewhere to wash and sleep. Could do with somewhere to sit and eat some food which is not a take away but it is located at a service station.
room was clean, shower good and staff pleasant. just had problems where my key car did not always work.

We arrived late afternoon and the lovely staff made booking in and parking the car very simple. The hotel does not have porters, so you have to take your own case to your room... no bad thing in MHO. There is no fiddling about with doors as you only have to present your card to the lock. The lighting is controlled by touch panels and has enough options to create mood. The rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, iron and hair dryer. The room was very smart and comfortable.
I can’t believe that this is only a 4 star. I’ll definitely use it again.

A fashionable spa town in the 19th century, Royal Leamington Spa received its noble title after a visit from Queen Victoria. Today, Leamington is popular for its preserved architecture and shopping center. Nearby Warwick is home to the medieval Warwick Castle. Perched on a bluff, visitors who dare to walk the castle walls are rewarded with expansive views of the River Avon valley.
