The Hotel's central to many great sites on the Street Car line. River Walk Outlet Stores, the Spanish Plaza, River Boat Natchez and Canal Stree , French Quarter all within walking distance. Although this Hotel isn't a Five Star it has some thing to offer those on the go pedestrians willing to navigate public transportation . As for the hotel served me well as far as getting around New Orleans goes. I give it a star and a half.

Our recent stay at the Lafayette Hotel was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to attractions, located on st. Charles Avenue, across the street from Lafayette Square. The hotel staff was very friendly during check in. Our room was great- very roomy and comfortable. This is a nice hotel with character. The steakhouse located on the first floor is very elegant and the food is superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in an upscale part of town within walking distance to the riverfront and french quarter. Housekeeping was very friendly and the room was stocked daily with fresh towels and coffee. This is our favorite hotel when visiting the wonderful city of New Orleans.

The Hotels location has easy access to nearly everything. We didn't want to be around the craziness of Bourbon St, but it was close. The bathroom door gives the user no privacy, it needs to be changed, altered or redesigned. One of the bartenders needs a personality. But other than that everything was great.

My family and I were taken care of the moment we arrived in our Lyft ride in the front drive with wonderful greetings. Every staff member was extremely polite and ready to offer help or advice on the area. Hotel lobby was clean and well kept despite the rainfall outside. Loved the infused water, a great touch. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect to explore the city by foot or street car and we felt safe in this area. This hotel is great value and we will stay here again.

This hotel was very eclectic and cool. Employees are all hipsters, and were very nice and gave good service. It was very crowded on the weekend, but they had a band, a DJ in the lobby, and a great restaurant on site. The only complaint was my room's thermostat said it was 71 degrees but it felt more like 78. It was uncomfortably warm.

This was a family vacation, first visit to New ORLEANS and it was exciting. We had a wonderful time. My grandkids was very exciting about the tours we went on and excited about riding the trolley. Straying the Drury Hotel was convenient to various restaurants and clubs in the area.

Best tip is to avoid renting a car for quick, downtown stays since parking is $38 per day for the hotel alone, plus wherever you take the car (parking in the French Quarter is way way not worth it, you're already within walking distance). Best value for hotel transpo is to take Airport Shuttle at MSY (there are plenty of kiosks in the airport on the baggage level) for only $44 roundtrip. The hotel is right on the trolley route, bus stops on corner, and there is Uber.

"Nice hotel in walking distance of many attractions"
We stayed in the club lifts. Can tell the building was old & made into an addition of the hotel but it was still fine! It was hot in New Orleans but the hotel was well air conditioned. Shower had good water pressure. Snacks & drinks available almost 24hr, good hot breakfast!
