"Nice hotel with unique character. "
my favorite hotel in Taipei . I am hooked on this hotel ever since my first stay. It has a vibrant and young ambience. It also has a unique way for you to leave a piece of your memory behind. The free meal vouchers are very useful.

"Excellent location in Ximending"
Located in Ximending pedestrian area. Near Ximen MRT station. Nice clean rooms. Our medium sized room had a large king bed big enough for 3 people. We were 3 people in the room. They don't charge you for the 3rd person as long as you don't ask for an extra bed, towels, toiletries, etc. Competent, helpful and friendly staff. Bottled water in the fridge is replenished every day. On top of that there is free reverse osmosis filtered water and ice in the service area.

"I love the hotel location!"
The room is clean and staff is friendly. But there's really a need to improve on their wifi - very poor reception during my visit. And the pillow is terribly soft, very close to without support. I wonder if anyone enjoy sleeping on such pillow?

"Ximending Area"
Second time staying here..the only "bad" thing is that the walls are thin. You can hears noises from outside the room. Makes it distracting at times.

"Centrally located with clean rooms"
Booked 2 rooms: Room 307 and 308. Room 307 has a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. There is no way you can control the thermostat, so you've to endure cold nights, or wake up to switch on/off the air conditioning. Despite being located in an old building, the rooms were pleasant and carpet of the rooms were clean. Bathroom was great and front-desk personnels were friendly.

"Worth coming back"
Service is worth the money we paid. Clean room, towels, sheets, etc. Decent breakfast included even four people in one room. Employees are friendly and helpful. Excellent location for shopping and dining. 10 minutes to subway. Car is not needed for touring. Free cold juice in dining area when we were back from a hot day. You can hear clearly talking or noise from next room. You need call front desk for that. They might help. No curtain on showering area, and whole bathroom can get wet. Generally speaking, it is economic hotel with decent service and a safe environment. If I go back, I would choose this hotel again.

"Definitely the best of my 5-day Taiwan trip."
Had a time staying here. Location: some 5-10 minute walk from Ximen MRT. I spent two nights in Ximending area, and I'd recommend Rich Garden to anyone who wants a nice, quiet place to stay but still in close proximity to everything. Public transportation is excellent, it's so easy to go anywhere with just an EasyCard in your hand. Staffs: Very professional, courteous, and helpful. You can tell that they really are willing to help. When asked about the best way to go to Chiu Fen from the hotel after a quick google search and we were still not sure which direction would be best for out plan, the guy at the front desk (so sorry I forgot his name.) went out of his way to search and print out the how-to for us, in Chinese, and marked and wrote the keywords in English for us, so we can simply show the paper should we ever get so lost and have to ask for help from any Taiwanese who can't speak English well. And then continued to ask us if we wanted to keep out luggage there after checking out and come pick them up after Chiu Fen trip. Hotel area, furniture, decorations, in classic, traditional Chinese / Japanese style. Warm and cozy, but still elegant in its own way. Clean, well-lit, well-maintained. Room: Nice. Really, really nice. Comfy bed and pillows. Some biscuits/ crackers provided but I didn't try. Restroom and shower area are also clean. Good toiletries. The hairdryer is very small, though, and can be real struggle if you have long hair.

Wanhua is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Wanhua, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Wanhua hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
