"Exceeded expectations"
My first trip to Athens and I was extremely pleased with this hotel. An excellent location; five minutes from tour buses and bustling shopping areas and in walking distance of historical sites. Friendly staff throughout and the rooms were excellent. A superb view of the acropolis from the restaurant that was breathtaking. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else if I came back. Worthy of five stars!

Amalia Hotel Delphi

"Spacious & cool"
During a major heat wave, this hotel offered air conditioning & a cool recess in its large public spaces. Huge swimming pool. We have selected this hotel before, and generally there is ample parking, although it was quite full this time due to a conference. It took some time for the a/c in the room to be effective, since it only starts when you insert your key card in the electricity slot, but it was comfortable by bedtime. Rooms are a bit tired in terms of furnishings, but the beds are very comfortable & the bathroom has plenty of room to move around. Complimentary bowl of fruit & bottled water (wish it had a kettle too!). The grounds are beautiful, with abundant roses & a quiet setting among the pines of the mountainside. The view towards the valley to the Gulf of Corinth is wonderful, although the balcony was too hot to use this time. The hotel is set a bit away from the crush of this touristy village, but easily walkable to get into the center for dinner & shopping. Wheeled baggage really rumbles on the rough stone floors of the hotel hallways--the hotel has a unique 70's style that did not anticipate that, but was designed to express use of local materials in sweeping spaces. It is really quite a unique place that combines rustic touches with comfort & nice touches of hospitality.

"Good hotel and decent location"
The room and hotel itself are very good and decent value for what you get. However breakfast / drinks etc are very expensive and not good value. The rooftop pool is good especially in the heat although at £10 a drink it takes the shine off a bit. Good restaurants and cafes near by and close to a few sites. Shuttle bus is handy also if getting into the centre.

"boutique hotel but..."
Staff and overall standard of hotel good. However our stay was seriously marred by the presence of a large group of children with their mothers, in which there was negligible parenteral control throughout the hotel. To the best of our knowledge hotel staff took no specific actions to control the aberrant behaviour, despite our politely asking. [screaming and running in the corridors, knocking on our door, continued to after 11pm. This was disappointing and disruptive for a stay in a boutique hotel.

"Good family hotel close to major sites"
This hotel was an excellent value for our family. Two connecting rooms were provided with a good view at a reasonable price. One of the best things about the hotel is the helpful staff and the location. The Acropolis and the Acropolis museum are right around the corner. It is easy to walk to the Plaka for shopping. The view from the restaurant roof garden is beautiful. The staff were great giving us information about how to get to the sites easily.

Viotia is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Viotia, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Viotia hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
