Here's the most important thing to know about this hotel (and that I somehow completely missed): you cannot drive a car up to the front door of this hotel! It is located on a pedestrian street. It has some parking underneath, but you will need to stash your car somewhere else, go into the hotel to ask for a parking spot, and then move your car underneath. We parked at the nearby Parking des Célestins which was relatively easy (and I think less expensive). It's about a 7 minute walk.
Location is otherwise quite good as it is near many restaurants and shopping. We walked across the river to explore Fourviere.
We had a one bedroom apartment. The fold out bed in the living area was actual two singles, which was excellent for our two children. Bed and pillows were comfortable and overall it was quite clean (shower grout could use replacing). Some street noise as we were on the first floor and opened the windows to get fresh air on a warm evening.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable as well as very friendly. They helped us with information on places to visit and how to best get there. The room was nice but even though it had an air conditioner it was not as cool as you would want. The breakfast was very good but a little on the pricey side for what it offered.

This hotel is a good choice for low frills but perfect location for a traveller. The service was courteous and effective, the room small and basic but clean, for and additional few, a breakfast was provided - and located right outside the train / metro / tram / bus station and next to shopping and dining option. You can walk to tourist attractions and all this for a great price.

Nice hotel with shops / plenty of restaurants close by. Public transport also very close. 20 minute walk into town with small folk so ideal! Beside a shopping mall also ..would recommend this hotel and go back again!

About 30 kilometres south of Lyon, Vienne was first home to the Allobroges, a Celtic tribe in Gaul. In 47 BC, it was transformed into a Roman colony under Julius Caesar, and was a thriving urban centre. Today, the town is a regional commercial and industrial centre specialising in the food industry. Vienne hosts an annual jazz festival every July, attracting European and international tourists.
