Great shower, right next to really big and cheap Supermarket, very close to metro, close to laundromat, nice breakfast (vegetarian options too) with awesome chocolate pastries - although come early because it was very sparse after 9:15am. Very friendly front-desk-guy (with great English), and really nice Barista during breakfast. We thought it was really funny that the word "elegant" was in the description for this hotel. Our room was neon orange, and this place has the tackiest decorations we'd ever seen. No bother though!! Keep in mind that there is an extra eight Euro tax per night, that you need to pay during checkout.

"Well-located comfortable and clean accommodations"
The property, consisting of a few rooms, is much more like a B & B, without the breakfast, rather than a hotel. It is located in a non-tourist area in a charming pre-World War 1 building with an interior courtyard, close to two metro stops, bus stops, shops, and neighborhood restaurants. The staff persons, one of whom appears to be the proprietor, were helpful.

"Comfortable, Clean, Accessible"
The place was a bit tricky to find at first. However, Marian emailed us ahead of time to suggest how we could reach the place. He specified which train line to take, where to go off. Marian was very accommodating, nice and informative. He gave us several advises like what to avoid, what to do, where to buy and where to eat. Very excellent customer service. He also cleans the room and bathroom really well. We were very comfortablr in our stay. Our room had the external shower and toilet, but it was still ok because we use it privately. A very good place to rest after a whole day of touring around the city.

"Friendly staff, great location, but basic hotel"
(2 friends sharing one room) If you are looking for a clean, friendly hotel that has excellent transport options and you don't intend on spending much time at the actual hotel, then this is very much the hotel for you. The hotel itself is nice, but basic. Each floor has about 3 rooms on it, each floor has 2 bathrooms (one male one female) that are shared between the 3 rooms, and also has a kitchen area if you want to use it. I was a bit uneasy about having to share a bathroom with other people, but the bathrooms are spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. As there are only 3 rooms per floor, its only a few steps to the bathroom anyway, so its really not an issue. The rooms themselves are pretty basic, we asked for 2 single beds for our room but were given 2 single beds pushed together to make a double PLUS a seperate single bed as well which was nice. Plenty of wardrobe space, rooms were always clean and beds always made. The best part about the hotel however, is its location in relation to the metro station. It is LITERALLY a 20 second walk to the nearest station, and makes getting around Rome a breeze. If you are looking for a hotel to drop your stuff at, go explore, and then come back to sleep at night, then this is very much the hotel for you.

"Great stay, huge room!"
I was definitely not expecting a room as nice as the one we received! It was huge, very spacious, had plenty of storage space, a TV, sofa, and coffee table. Owner was very friendly and told us about good restaurants and how to get about, and where we should visit. There was a kitchen to cook meals in, if you don't want to eat out. Apartment in very safe area, and only a few minutes away from the Metro station, and there are a number of bus stops even closer. Very easy to travel to the tourist attractions. We bought a Roma Pass from the owner, which worked out cheaper than buying online or at a station ourselves, which was very good.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
