"A luxury bolt-hole at the heart of Verona"
For location, this hotel is in a pedestrianized area just off the main shopping street and within a short walk of the vast majority of the important sights of Verona and many cafes and eating places. We had a Superior Double room with a large bathroom (excellent large walk-in shower, bidet, powerful fan for clearing steam - not audible in the bedroom) and a huge bed; two sofas and an easy chair, a desk, a table and a large TV (English-language channels News only). Tea & Coffee facilities and free Wi-Fi. The room was very clean and remained so throughout the visit. The inclusive breakfast had a very large extensive menu, including some cooked items, which was served in a rather busy dining room. The staff were all so very helpful, attentive and friendly, especially the barman, Francesco - 5 stars for him! The area was virtually traffic-free, quiet and pleasant.

"Treated Like Royalty"
From the time we arrived (the location was very easy to find) we were treated very, very well. Greeted with smiles and helpful staff. The room was gorgeous and very roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was huge, and well appointed. We had access to the courtyard (if you're a movie buff, you'll know which courtyard I'm talking about!) after all of the other visitors had left, which was SO fun. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance, which is great. In the morning, breakfast is served at the requested time and is just wonderful. I cannot say enough nice things about this place and its staff - perfect!

"Good location, service and room was comfortable."
This hotel is in a fantastic location for walking in the city and access to the Train station and airport. Our room was smoky in the beginning but was resolved. Overall very happy with the hotel.

"Very nice hotel and good location."
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Very good breakfast choice and quality. Location could not be better. Close to the arena and piazza bra. We were here for 3 nights and had a great stay. Only downside is the spa is only open from 3pm to 6pm and we would like to have used the spa in the evening when the sun had gone down. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

"Excellent boutique hotel ideally situated"
Whilst dominated by the opera experience, Verona is a beautiful city that can be easily explored on foot, although the pavements are narrow and cobbled (wheelchair users may find some streets challenging) but there is very little traffic within the town. The main square (Erbe) is lively and interesting with many osterias (tavern/cafe) to eat. Explore any narrow lane virtually anywhere within Verona and you will find more salubrious restaurants. The wine is fantastic given the rich heritage of the three local regions of Valpolicella, Soave and Bardolino so tasting a quality Soave Superiore or Amarone is a must in Verona. A visit to the opera is also essential but if you buy the stone seat tickets make sure you buy a cushion (they're cheaper from the street vendors than within the arena). Dressing up is optional but ladies beware of the cobbles if wearing heels and guys, jackets are not required. There are many fabulous places to explore such as the beautiful palace gardens at Giardino Giusti (across the eastern bridge over the river Adige) with spectacular views. Take a tour bus (hope on and off) and try the Blue route first as it takes you to more interesting sites.

"Nice stay"
The location of the hotel give us easy access to the main points of interest of the city. Room was specious. We had access to a private balcony. The breakfast offers many choices ( hot and cold ). No problem with the wi-fi.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
