Loved the setting. The bed in our room was a little past its prime. Food in the main dining room was excellent. Staff could have been a littke more attentive, but nothing concrete to complain about. I would love to come for a longer stay

When we arrived the staff was extremely nice and professional. Matt was the best. The next day Naomi was outstanding, she handled things great. The entire visit was top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have a great restaurant that serves just about anything and the personal treatment is wonderful. I want to thank them for a wonderful stay.

I have stayed at the Greystone Motel many times over many years...and it has always be a good, friendly, clean BASIC place to stay. I call it "basic"...a nice room in a convenient area...the office has a cereal/muffin/coffee breakfast...no pool, exercise room...etc.
They have worked over the years to update/improve the facility...my room had a great newish bathroom...small but OK.

The oldest and smallest city in Vermont, Vergennes spans just two square miles and was founded in 1788. Downtown Vergennes is a cozy three-block strip of local shops and restaurants situated around the city hall, which was built in 1897 and was once the Vergennes Opera House. A local park features a seasonal farmers market. The town is also located just east of the scenic Vergennes Falls and Otter Creek.
