I had a long trip and a long day. The Inn was a comforting place to unwind and rest. The staff and lobby were warm and welcoming. The room was a delight with tons of character and an atmosphere safety and security. The bed was enormous and so perfectly comfortable! I've stayed in pricey hotels and had awful beds. The space was quiet, the temperature was perfect and the amenities were more than adequate.

This hotel was terrific. When checking in, the staff was extremely welcoming and the process was very fast. The receptionist was informative and knowledgeable, welcoming us to the Burlington area with great enthusiasm. The room was spacious and clean, while also being comfortable. All the kitchen appliances were well maintained, in good working use and were very clean as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room made us feel like we had our own little apartment. The bathroom was very clean and also very well lit. Breakfast was great, large variety of foods- something for everyone. Coffee and food were fresh and hot, and the staff was again very polite and kind. Made us feel like we were home with our moms! The checkout process was speedy like the first time and we were asked how everything was, if there was anything wrong, etc. Our stay here was 10 out of 10 stars and we will be back. I would recommend this hotel to anyon coming to Burlington, you won’t regret it!

Hotel itself was very clean. The website was lacking though. Would have loved to take advantage of the yoga classes if I knew beforehand they existed. Had to really dig around the website to find anything. Also, the lounge downstairs was serving food but I never did find a menu anywhere. No safes or clocks in the room, really?

Downtown Vergennes is a cozy three-block strip of local shops and restaurants situated around the city hall, which was built in 1897 and was once the Vergennes Opera House. A local park features a seasonal farmers market. The town is also located just east of the scenic Vergennes Falls and Otter Creek.
